Can I have 2 stock brokerage account without transferring my existing shares from my current stockbroker account? And if this is possible, can anyone recommend a broker best suitable in handling day trading with low commissions/fees?

MTN is a good stock, what will you do if the stock does not appreciate by December?

I started buying MTN at N94 and stopped buying at N105.

Don’t worry I will join you in the bus when it comes to pick more passengers.

Why isn't Zenith Bank's share price moving up like GTB? Who did Uncle Jim offend?

1. Yes. You can have 2 brokerage account.
** You must however inform the new broker that you have existing CHN number which will be used to open account for you.
** Account name for both must be the same.

2. There are few brokers with low commissions. I can only mention the ones I know .......Morgan Capital and Greenwich Mytradebook.
** If you're chanced, you may opt to be trading by yourself.

You weren't authoritative in your assertion... Sometimes you aren't too sure... You only come forward whenever the tide is NORTH
Think it's better to play safe when recommending stocks by not being assertive.
There's a saying that Mr. Market
has a mind of its own and does its things.
When they give recommendations, market might not respond immediately. Sometimes prices may even fall before moving northwards at its own time.
Quite a lot of scenario like this.
People jumps in immediately they make a call but becomes disappointed when the price refuse to move immediately.
Name calling, insult or fight may then follow. grin .........reason why caveat is always adviced.
This is how I view it sha.

Using a tusk to drink palm wine is for future glory.

The great eagle renews it's youth through shedding it's feathers.

As a child, a boy "A" of 12yrs is viewed as a great senior to a child "B" of 6yrs ,( 12/6 = 2). If A live up to 106yrs, and "B" up to 100yrs, they are likely viewed as age mates (106/100 = 1.06). Even Mathematics tends to relax it's assertiveness and approach unity for mediation... grin

Calculus is indeed a great tool nature always applied since creation before Isaac Newton and his friend cajoled it into a superiority defining weapon.

Glory, even beyond exceptional items and conquering speeding trains approaches.... grin

A war WILL soon break out! grin
Don't drink using what can not be turned into a great weapon at the club!

Midnight approaches, the hour of honor approaches.

Black is not only worn for mourning, but a great camouflage for subtle night operations . grin grin grin

The porcupine will soon make the rabbits hole its home.... grin

What do you really mean by if I am chanced, I may opt to be trading for myself? will this option aid fast mandate execution?. I will fancy this considering I want to dabble into day trading.

Also, with fast trading/ease of trading as the key decision factor, which brokerage is most preferred between Morgan Capital and Greenwich Mytradebook?

It was listed today at NSE which now increase their MARKET CAPITALIZATION from N2.5B to N18.5B

Anybody Investing in UPDC at this time should do so with insiders knowledge and the very long term in view, You can listen to marketers like this guy here at your own risk.

Here are the Facts.

UPDC made a turnover of N2.3 billion in 2018 and N2.1billion in 2019. Thats a decline year on year before this 2020 COVID shock. For these Turnover they made a loss of N15.8 billion in 2018 and another loss of N15.1 billion in 2019. I dont have issues with the losses.

However,Lets assume they didnt make a loss and they were able to convert 50% of their N2.5billion turnover to profit( which is not possible) in 2018 and 2019 they would have had an EPS of about 50k with the initial 2.5billion shares outstanding. Now with the shares increased to 18 billion units. A feasible EPS from a profit of N1.25 billion (50% of turnover) is 0.069kobo

Is this scenario above creating wealth for shareholders or making them poorer?. Except this company sells some of its assets, do a share reconstruction or look for other revenue stream i dont see investors here making money soon.

The UACN stool is standing on 3 legs, UPDC is non existent right now,UACN is broken and under repair,UPDCREIT is standing well but not liquid. Do your calculations, know your appetite for risk taking and make an informed decision.

Anything and everything is possible with financial engineering and special corporate situations eg (merger, acquisition, unbundling, spin off, divestment etc) which fundamental analysis, technical analysis and sentimental analysis can't explain with accuracy and certainty the final outcome, the best thing in such situations is to get close to insiders and observe their body language

If the Investors and insiders get it right they can unlock latent wealth, if they get it wrong they will lose funds or are just there

Reason why it is best to consider the worst case scenario as analysed by Cardinal Stone Research

Your comments reflect the years of experience you’ve gathered on the investment landscape. No amount of marketing/de-marketing will change the fate of UACN. Only time will tell.

My analysis has more to do with UPDC listing more shares which may not translate to better return right now. I have said updcreit is solid but its not a liquid stock, as for UACN i cant tell the future.

Meanwhile i spoke to a very key insider in UPDC recently after seeing all the posts on this thread. Effort is being made to turn things around but there is nothing much to expect from UPDC in the short term. I wish every investor luck. When the market is heated even average stocks can gain 1000%. grin

Well noted. Investors will start making money from the stock market when they stop listening to what management says, but start watching, observing and taking notes of what management does.
