My car is a 4cylinder 2008 Accord. I had a part of my engine welded by a ‘Kazeem‘ due to an annoying noise when I start the car. The noise went away, but I realized that’s the wrong procedure after stumbling on articles online. PLS HOW DO I CORRECT THIS BIKO. Also, my engine started vibrating with increased load like AC ON. It’s not much , but noticeable. Lastly, my Kazeem fixed my suspension bits & brakes. Saldlly, I have my ABS,! , VFS & brake lights all on. It ALL goes off for like 15mins when it rains. Please help as I am not happy at all. ABS CODES 1.VSA solenoid valve malfunction 2. Ecm/PCM relation failure 3. Abs left rear outlet solenoid valve malfunction 4. Abs Right front outlet solenoid valve malfunction 5. Right front magnetic encoder malfunction CHECK ENGINE CODES 1. F-CAN malfunction (ecm ) pcm-vsa control module unit 2. A/F sensor (B1) S1 heater circuit malfunction 3. VTC system malfunction 4. CMP Sensor A and CKP sensor incorrect phase detected |

Good evening sirs and all the expert in the house, Please help! Am having P0420 code ( catalytic converter below efficiency bank1) on my honda accord 09 2.4l. I discovered this after a check engine light came up on my dashboard, coincidentally a colleague of my had an OBD2 scanner with him that moment. We scanned an got the P0420 code. I would like to add that, it was not the first time of seeing the check engine light on my dashboard, but it clears off whenever I remove the battery terminal, but always resurfaces after a couple of days, so I always thought maybe because my battery terminal cable head was corroded and not supplying enough voltage was the reason for the check engine light, not until I scanned it yesterday. The code was cleared with the scanner but am quite certain the check engine light will resurface again after a couple of days. Please how can this problem be resolved. I also get rattling sound that lasts for about 3secs whenever I start my car in the morning. During my last oil change, the mechanic overguaged my oil. I notice this when I got home, and I have been using the car like that ever since. it's been about 3months. I later notice oil leak from around the VTC actuator whenever the engine is running, but the leak is little. I don't know if its the cause of the rattling sound, and if the oil overguage is the reason for the P0420 code. Please help, am at a loss. |

Good evening Mr Luvinghubby (Pastor) and other house members please, I want you to help in elightning me on 'Spark Plug' issues. My car is an Honda Accord 2002 model. A major issues I have with mechanics who had worked on my car is this spark plug issues. I was told to buy new plugs, NGK for #6,000 and immediately the plugs was put into my car engine, I knew it wasn't strong enough because my car vibration increased unnecessarily after putting on the AC. That plugs lasted just two and half months before misfires started on two cylinders of the engine car. Now, he said I should get tokunbo plug, I did and now my car started having 'hard starting' issues. what should I do? should I order plugs online maybe from jumia? I have suffered plugs issues too much from lies mechanics tells me. |

Hello All. I have been actively working on getting another car for some time. I have searched Nairaland and it’s mostly toks Honda that is sold here... To cut it short, I found an A-list Honda Pilot today on Jiji, and it really captured me. The manufacture date is 2004. But there is the usual talk about Honda cars, including common issues and their resale value. In the circumstances, Transmission failure....I need all the advice I can get to make my decision, including on management tips if I go for it. What are the things I should look out for. My alternative is a Toyota Highlander 2003, but it is way above my budget trying to get a Nigerian used. Moreover I just left a Camry and will like to feel how a different brand tastes like. Advice about this alternative would also be well appreciated. Thanks very much. I appreciate you all 1 Like |
