What about people without phones or laptops to conduct virtual examination nko... Can't noun wait till government opens schools?

Important Information to ALL students :

Attn: ALL STUDENTS

Sequel to the two (2) documents tagged: " DRAFT PROPOSAL ON EXAM ON-DEMAND", the University Management wish to inform ALL students to ignore such and to always adhere strictly to information that emanate from their various study centres.

The right channel of communication to Students on academic matters is 'still' through their Study Centre Directors and not through unanimous channels/social media or any groups.

Students are therefore warned of circulating unconfirmed informations received from scammers on social media and ensure they get credible informations not only on examination matter but on all issues relating to their academic pursuits.

Also, the University Management wishes to inform the Students to not regard the DRAFT Examination Time Table (ETT) released before the lockdown began on February, 2020 towards the forthcoming examination. The new ETT will be circulated as soon as the lockdown is lifted and school activities commences.

Stay safe,
Stay healthy,
Stay calm; and
Be prepared and focused.

Thank you.

BRIEF EXPLANATION ON 2020_1 EXAMINATION

According to the directive of DEA, undergraduates (100 - 400 level) and post graduate students are required to select one type or mode of examination which are:

1. Virtual examination

Virtual examination implies that the student can write the exam at his or her convenience either at home, work, etc This is an online examination and it is optional meaning you can choose to either do your examination at home or at the centre. Then you will select the number of courses you want to do and where you want it done. For instance, I am offering 7 courses this semester, I can decide to do the first three (3) exams online - virtual examination and do the remaining 4 at NITEL (provided the place will be used).

2. Physical examination

Physical examination is the normal examination usually written at the centre specified by your study centre management. For instance, Mushin and some other study centres normally use NITEL at Oshodi (Cappa) for this purpose.

In other to enroll for any of the two type of exam, you must have filled and submitted a form of which a confirmatory email containing your information would be sent to your mailbox. It is worth noting that once a student has picked ''virtual examination'' for instance, he or she won't be able to write examination at the study centre (physically) using pen, pencil and answer booklet.

The instructional video on how to register for virtual examination is here --->>> https://dea.nou.edu.ng/node/90830 Make sure you use a valid email that you have access to or you could register a new email if you cannot login to your old email. It would take you about 10 minutes to register via gmail.com

Thank you
This is false information .
Someone that is not interested in the virtual exam has no business registering .
You’re here saying people that want to write physical exam should register there too.
This is misleading .
It’s only for people that wants to write virtual exam.
Try to read and understand anything you copy before pasting them here.

Please I want to understand this virtual exams thing.

1. Can I register all the courses that I'm offering for virtual exams?

2. Is this virtual exam theory or objective(that is will it come as our TMAs come)?

3. What are the requirements, for example can I write the virtual exams with my phone or will it be with a laptop only.

(VIRTUAL EXAM IS NOT COMPULSORY)

POP & E EXAMS CAN BE DONE VIRTUALLY, IT DEPENDS ON YOU, ALSO NOTE THAT; ONCE A COURSE IS SELECTED FOR VIRTUAL EXAMINATION, IT CANNOT BE MADE AVAILABLE TO THE STUDENT FOR PHYSICAL EXAMINATION AT THE STUDY CENTRE

ATTENTION!!!

➡Please Note There Is A Big Option Of You Waiting For Study Centre Exam After The Lockdown Might Have Been Relaxed!!!!!!

➡Note Very Well Choosing Virtual Exam Option Is Solely Your Personal Choice And Not That Of Management!!!

➡Please Check Your Self Well Before Making This Choice..

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT VIRTUAL EXAMINATION

3. You can take the virtual examination anywhere, be it office, home, school, company etc.
