The civil war atrocities as documented by Biafra are easily available with pictures. The atrocities committed by Biafra forces with pictures are classified by the Federal government in the spirit of reconciliation. Sadly, the other side won’t stop posting the atrocities of the federal forces in support of their propaganda efforts.

For unbiased minds, Biafra and federal forces committed serious atrocities during the war. Both sides are guilty so don’t be swayed by propaganda threads like this.

Why aren't they(Nigerian Government) teaching history in Nigeria, an attempt to conceal the truth.

Atrocities of Ojukwu’s “Butcher Group”, The Biafran Organization of Freedom Fighter (BOFF) The dominant argument in the historiography of the Nigeria-Biafra War, both within academia and the popular media, is that the Igbo were targeted for extermination by the Muslim north. There is hardly any mention of Biafra atrocities in non- Igbos occupied territories who were not affiliates of Ojukwu’s Biafra concept. The international media played a significant role in exposing the humanitarian tragedies incurred by Biafran. But many of the atrocities committed by the Biafran army on non-Igbos territories were hardly reported because Ojukwu deliberately blocked unfavorable information leaving these territories. Little information that got to the international press on the plight of non-Igbo territories came through personal account of foreigners engaged in humanitarian services during the war and catholic missionaries. Ojukwu painted Eastern region as a monolithic Igbo territory so it

Benin was a part of Federal. What do you mean by take over, was someone occupying it?

In war times, you target the military population not civilian population.

Why were there that many Ibo in Benin when even in your own village back home you could hardly find that many people in a community?

You’re just an immoral entity. Nigeria considered those people as citizens and the Nigerian army was supposed to protect them.

You people are too funny, Nigeria is supposed to protect those who broke her constitution, are you even listening to yourself?

Did Ojukwu protect those in the east who didn’t want to be part of Biafra? Do you know what he did to them, he referred to them as mercenaries and killed them publicly to traumatise them. Hear it from the horses mouth himself.

Biafra was thoroughly and appropriately dealt with. I hear Ojukwu in that video saying he would love to capture a mercenary alive, why didn't he stay to be captured, why he fled? Were!

Many of you Igbos are excessively foolish. What school is history not taught in Nigeria ?

Addressing your claim Nigeria isn't teaching history which is clearly false do you think syllabus will be authorized to teach Biafra war killings or is your brain dead.

What school do you have in Igbo land that did not teach history or how did I know Nigeria got independence 1960. British conquest of the country tribe by tribe, coups, several constitution n system of government etc were all taught during Math class ?!
