It’s likely a false positive then. So you may need to stop progesterone until pregnancy is confirmed. Reason is that progesterone gives false positive as it contains same hormone hcg which becomes present during pregnancy. It’s not recommended for long term use except for people who already confirmed their numbers are quite low after ovulation. So try the next few months without it but continue your monitoring and test again.

Okay I will, the one I went to said they have to take fertilization away from me which is ivf but I’m certain it won’t stay even if I go that way
My period just started two days after negative test n stopping all drugs including progesterone
thank you I’d ask because I don’t know what medications can help me now

I think you need to get tested to either validate or invalidate this theory, i think its a genetic disorder that make your gene attack your embryos, thinking it will cause harm.

Dont just see a gynae, see a very good passionate fertility consultant. I wish you the best of luck!

My sister, why dont u take some time off to work on your egg quality?from what i v read, chemical/aborted preg is highly related to age or egg quality. Take supplements to boost viable eggs, myoinositol, coq10, vitE, or Ovaboost.u can google for more.forget u r using pregnacare, that one is not aggresive enof for what is on ground.Ur miracle is closer to you

Read blendy77 posts. She mentioned a clinic in lagos that she used. Or better still, just read through the thread, you'll get some clinic names accompanied by people's experiences and you can pick.

Thanks for all your responses. She went for another scan today. Its about 5weeks now. The doctor says the sac is still small, but they can detect heart beat of the baby and the size is seemingly OK in size. But the issue is that the sac is not growing. Its 6.4 in size(not so sure).
Please it their any chance of survival. I am still hopeful and prayerful.

Relax Bros, there is sac, there is heartbeat, u have nothing to fear. Let her keep taking her progesterone n other drugs given to her by the clinic and she n the baby will be fine. Most hospitals do scan at 6weeks to check how many implanted and another scan at 8 weeks to check for heartbeat. This is just five weeks from ur post so chillax Bros. U can buy the test kits at home to check whenever u are worried

If you are in Nigeria
Look for a good woman that will set your womb. Ijaw women are known for womb massage.
Add maca, raspberry leaves, chamomile etc to your diet to strengthen and calm your uterus.

Hello all , please I need an advise for a friend , she’s currently in Australia and she plan to use her frozen embryos in naija but due to the lockdown, she’s confused whether to start a fresh ivf cycle in Australia but it’s expensive or wait till after the lockdown. She had a successful baby boy with the previous cycle of ivf at a first try. She’s really worried about having a second baby her son is 4 years old now. She’s not getting younger
