It may be something and it may be nothing. You should meet either a doctor or an optometrist to take a detailed history and carry out a thorough examination ( visual acuity/slit lamp/fundoscopy/tonometry)

I would be surprised though if there was a spread of COVID-19 in your area with loss of taste/smell as the only symptoms and none of the regular symptoms like fever, cough, Shortness of breath, sore throat, runny nose, or even diarrhea.

I seriously thought about this.

The people who have complained to me cited the loss of taste and smell as the major symptom. Though they have recovered from it.

Most took herbal drinks and recovered from it.

Maybe fever. Not high fever though.

I'm much more concerned about their health. One of my ministers never told me he had same issue. Oga entered my car and we went around praying and checking up on prople. Two days later I noticed I couldn't taste or smell anything too. It was funny
