The United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, has directed Prof. Martin Chia Ateh to organise sensitisation workshops on brief history of United Nations Organisation (UNO) State of Cameroon.

According to Guterres in a recent letter to Prof. Ateh, the workshops are held in Gwoza, Michika, Mubi, Ganye, Serti and Gembu of Borno, Adamawa and Taraba States.

This was disclosed, Friday, in Michika, Adamawa State by Augustine Sah, one of the steering committee members for the actualisation of UNO state of Cameroon.

The State of Cameroon has already clocked 100 years. It covers an area of 86,214 square kilometres.

In Nigeria, the state’s landmass extends from Bakassi Peninsular in Cross River State to Gambouru/Ngala in Lake Chad region.

Five councils of Gwoza, Bama, Ngala, Kala/Balge and Dikwa are to be carved out of Borno State, while Michika, Mubi North and South, including Madagali, Ganye, Tongo and Mayo/Balwa in Adamawa State are to form a new country.

Not all those who take up guns are listened to. South Cameroon share separate colonial history with cameroon. They only became part of Cameroon via a referendum. It is Easier for them to convince the international community on why they should be an independent country. Its almost same with China and hong Kong except China is more powerful.

All IPOBians are self-delusional. Fact is Biafra will never ever be with 90% of Igbo political, business and elite leaders against it.

Without a reversal of this situation Biafra will never be because Igbos who have the power and influence to make Biafra an independent nation are not interested. They want ro remain Nigerians and in Nigeria.

I suspect most Igbos know this and are frustrated. Yet in line with their clannish/tribalistic proclivities and dishonest nature, they prefer to come here daily to attack Yorubas and Hausa/Fulani for "not letting them go" whereas it is actually their greedy, wicked leaders and people of influence keeping them hostage.

Igbos dont even have to fight anyone if their political, business and elite leaders are wholly committed to the actualization of Biafra. These folks are influential enough to force Nigeria to the negotiating table if willing to sacrifice and give their all for Biafra. Did Yorubas not get Amotekun when their political leaders and elite stood behind it uncompromisingly?

The truth is that Igbo leaders today are not and will never be willing to fight for Biafra. This category of Igbos are like an American white boss or Boxing promoter who may hate blacks but will not say no to recruiting exceptional black talent because they will reap the financial rewards.

Even Igbo leaders who sympathize with Biafra will never support its actualization because they are pragmatic and know their interests are best served if they remain in Nigeria.

The President General of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, John Nwodo has explained the reason why the top Igbo organisation prefers restructuring of the country to total break up despite the relentless agitation of its youth.

According to a statement from his office on Friday, Mr. Nwodo told a cross section of Ndigbo leaders in Abuja on Thursday that no ethnic group has more stake in the Nigeria project than the Igbo and as such Igbos cannot consider a break up as a viable option.

The Ohanaeze boss said that there is no part of this country where Igbos have not invested their resources even without any corresponding investment from others in Igboland.

He said that while Ohanaeze understands and appreciates the circumstances that prompted the youth agitations under the MASSOB and IPOB platform, the elders do not believe that leaving the country is a reasonable option at this time.

That's why IPOB or any Biafra seeking organization in Igboland MUST first and foremost deploy their public acceptance and popularity to wrestling political power from the current pro Nigerian Igbo politicians.

The only reason why Biafra is not been taken serious is because Igbo leaders those in politics arent interested in it.

Ipob leaders are not Igbo leaders, even Igbo leaders that are ipob affiliated dont show it in public.

Biafra cause is not as legit as Ambazonia cause.

The only reason some people want secession, ipob yo be precise their excuse is marginalization, if u use this as an excuse in the ICC they will tell u that if perceived marginalization under a particular govt us ur reason then, we would have over 1000 countries by now.
