More prolific in the Bundesliga and playing in a particular type of system. Those attributes do not automatically transfer to Liverpool in a different system and league.

I remember Keita left RB Leipzig after 3/4 very consistent outstanding seasons in the Bundesliga and came to Liverpool with a transfer close to €60 million also with great expectations.

What was the result he is simply not up to scratch after two seasons. And they are looking to offload him.

It should be warning to players that after the big money comes the expectations of performances.

The requirements of each league and team is different as well as the style of play and system. Can the player adapt and thrive the big question.

U are totally wrong about Keita.. His problem isn't performance but injury. he has battles series of injury since he joined but has by no means been a flop..
He has picked up form this season..

I dunno where u get the story that we are looking to offload him,but it's 100% false..the only players we are looking to offload are Lallana,Lovren,Shaqiri and Clyne...

I'm very sure Werner would fit into the team because of his style of play...can't say the same for Chelsea though ...

Naby keita is good , but i think he has not done so well for liverpool, but we wont see that easily because the liverpool team have been so good since he arrived

Keita has been playing below average since he joined liverpool, this is not a player bought for 20million but for 60 million, so i will gladly say he has been below average

Why

He will join the que of Batshuayi, Giroud, Pulisic and others.

The Bundesliga is not the EPL being prolific in the Bundesliga does not automatically transfer.

He will have to adapt and prove himself and if not just like Batshuayi with his €50 million transfer of 4 years ago, he can join the bench warmers.

Batshuayi is an average player, i told a chelsea fan but he disagree with me

But he didnt flop at chelsea okay, he wasnt given enough game time and its clear

This is what I propose for Africa
1. Nations League
2. CHAN (players based in Africa. Up to 3 players who can be based outside Africa but have to be making their debut for their nations at the tournament)
3. AFCON every 4 years. (Host countries will have enough time to plan to host at a world standard). We should go back to the time when defending champions had an automatic slot.
4. WAFU can be strictly home based players.

Why should defending champions have an automatic slot? It was removed for a reason...

Newsflash: None of them is Messi. Full stop.

Even Klopp once said, "Unless you are Messi or C.Ronaldo, you got to defend man... You gotta defend."

That should tell you something.

All that "how Klopp does his thing" talk changes at the mention of Messi. That's a fact.

To be frank, Werner would have fit in right at Liverpool 100% but him at Chelsea now. Well, I guess time will tell. But it's clear his presence may mean less game time for Tammy in a 4-3-3 unless Lamps plans to play Werner LW and Tammy CF or play Werner alongside Tammy like Nagelsmann did with him at Leipzig alongside Schick or Poulsen in a 4-2-2-2 (a high variant of 4-4-2).
Meanwhile una no dey tire to dey lose players in the transfer war to Chelsea? Lol... Anyway, despite losing these players to your rivals in the market, at least you guys have a UCL and now an EPL on the way to show for your decisions in the recent transfer windows. grin

Danielnino00:

If you understand how Klopp does his thing,I'm sure u will get what I'm driving at..

I wish Werner all the best at Chelsea...he won't be the first player we will loss to them anyway.. Pulisic and Willian Dy there ..

There is something l have said so many times.

Once you are dealing with top teams in the EPL, TIME is a very scarce commodity.

Particularly as a striker, you absolutely must hit the ground running. NO DELAY or you sit on the bench. He has never been able to get close to the numbers he got when he was in Marseille and Standard Liege.

If he was in a smaller club like Leicester, Everton, Crystal Palace he probably be thier number one or two striker. Because he would have been given time.

He is still a very good player, don't forget if l remember correctly he went Borussia Dortmund and in 10 games scored 7 goals that is not easy.

Six foreign coaches battle for Super Falcons’ job

An NFF official told The Guardian yesterday that two female and four male foreign coaches are currently jostling for the Super Falcons job. The official refused to name the nationalities of the job-seeking foreign coaches.

Another official of the NFF who spoke with The Guardian yesterday hinted that the federation had decided to engage a foreigner for the Super Falcons job, thereby ending speculations that the NFF was considering the duo of Florence Omagbemi and Mercy Akide for the job.

“We are going for a foreign coach for the Super Falcons’ job,” the official said. “We want to avoid a situation whereby a local coach will be holding us to ransom after getting the job. They always have that attitude of showing off their bad characters after getting the job. We don’t have time for that any longer.”

They should give a female biko. Let Mercy Akide assist her. Anyhow.

Imagine the jostling.

That France Cheating is as fresh in my head like yesterday.

But once again, the downgrading of locals.....lets be blunt, its true but also shows the way the system doesnt respect locals.

He is a very straightforward and down to earth young man.

I don't think he will play for Liverpool but he still will have a good career in football.

Last season in the summer when l spoke to him and he told me about the injury. Someone called me essentially a liar at that time, when l mentioned the injury.

You dont expect batshuayi to bench diego costa nah, you think if costa is at chelsea tammy will get any game time ?

Firmino does more than scoring goals, and Klopp is totally pleased with him.. He won't bench him for Werner.
If Klopp wanted a goal scoring striker,he won't have sold Benteke...He won't give Salah and Mane that much freedom up front and definitely won't be using Origi as a winger..

Anyway liverpool are not getting him so no need of this arguement

Origi is not good enough to lead that front line as firmino is doing.

You just don't understand.. You were talking about Werner being more prolific and I gave you Origi as an example.. Check Origi's goal to game ratio and compare it with Firmino...
Sometimes when Origi plays,he is deployed on the wing...even Salah,Mane and Wijnaldum have been used as false9s ..

It's not just about scoring goals... If you remove Firmino from that lineup,Salah and Mane won't be at the level they are now,I can assure you that...
