What's the target price

I guess by this, u mean target exit price.
Well, that will depend on ur investment personality, time horizon and goals.

Disclosure: Exited a certain proportion of my holding today following up a mapped out strategy.

What? ...did anyone say that I am the same person as Mr Ese?
Not sure I read about that but if indeed there was any such claim, then its really very funny.
...maybe the assertion was made by a comedian. grin grin grin

I just got this book "The little book that beats the market" by Joel Greenblatt. I read here you favour the strategy described in it, I will try and read it this weekend.

It's just an exit method that follows a certain pattern but obeys ur investing strategy and goal.
Depending on the asset entry price, ur target return and projected FVE, the laid out parttern might differ for different assets.
It could be XYZ, XZY, YXZ, YZX, ZXY or ZYX.(assuming an exit parttern of xyz factorial)
...where the alphabets X, Y and Z in % could be any positive No, while their summation is 100%.
Ur exit parttern can also be wxyz factorial or vwxyz factorial... up to n factorial.(where n can be any No of alphabet)
The factorial representation simply connotes the weight(in vol) and No of times u follow through with ur exit strategy.
Like I said; A lot will depend on the part in bold.(u need to link the 3 factors highlighted there)

A different but somewhat similar strategy can also be implored with target entries.

You didn't explain this very well, I have a background in math and probability theory, and this makes no sense. Why factorial ( n! ) ? Pls, what is d name of this strategy?

The difference between making that uncanny statement(1st part in bold) and going ahead to ask a question(2nd in bold) is called A LACK OF MANNER OF APPROACH.
U don't make such conclusive statements and follow it up with a question. ...the fact that both were made to coexist together is what actually makes NO sense. Unless of course, ur the kind that ask for a strategy over something that u already claim makes no sense. ...in which case, I wouldn't know how best to describe ur person.
Its damn silly and absurd !!
...so there's absolutely no need for any further explanatory revert. smiley wink cheesy

Pls forgive my previous post and ignore it- ok !!

Next time, learn to use a simple statement like; Sorry I still don't quite follow, could u be kind enough to shed more light on it?
...that's a more reasonable way to ask a question !!

You can exit or enter a predetermined position size in proportions of the size you chose. In his own case he is saying he has exited 40% of his Neimeth portfolio. Your own sizes could be anything such as

40%-40%-20%
30%-30%-40%
25%-25%-25%-25%

Choice is all yours.

Good that u have an idea.
...though there's much more to what I posted.

Anyone who understands how to play their way around asset pricing and read the part;
"...an exit method that follows a certain pattern but obeys ur investing strategy and goal.

as stated in that post should know what I am talking about.

I think the gain is the result of the Job report for the month of May.

That said, this might be a good time to consider gradually exiting certain foreign coys.(not all)
Perhaps an opportunity to sell into the euphoria.
Times like these, also present opportunities for swing trade in some asset.

I agree, my problem is that I lack tact. Read your answer again and see if you can make sense of it, I did not. I thought you did dat on purpose to brush me off. I apologize, hope we are good.

Seriously bull is around the corner. Brent crude oil currently at $42 and Dow moving with 900+ point currently at 27,000+. NSE will likely welcome bull all corner by next week.

The 2nd part in bold shows that u still haven't learnt anything after been corrected and perhaps u never will.
Funny how u would make such inane statement after previously tendering an apology.
...and even funnier, is that the said statement was again, made to coexist with an open confession that u had lacked tact while asking a question that led to the very same matter.

I don't know how best to describe u. ...perhaps u can help urself out with that my dear. smiley wink cheesy

I would've loved to demystify things a bit more. ...except for the fact that I'd rather not do it for someone like u.
...and pls, I'd prefer if this matter is put to rest. Unless ur fit is that of a folly human, I do not expect u to reply to this post.
U may continue with other discussion.

Do take care of u.

And the meeting will likely end in good note, Saudi Arabia and Russian has shown the sign that both will agree in more one month extension of oil cut.
Oil will likely head to $45/$50 by next week.

We still have about 509 million units of stock in the net sell direction as shown in the K column.

If price touches 18.08 this week then closes with a bearish body next week, Zenith will sell back to the 11.90 low (maybe lower).

18.08 is the price level to watch for this week.

Hi everyone,

both conditions in the IF . . . THEN statement have been fulfilled.

Zenith touched 18.08 AND closed this new week with a bearish body.

Now, I expect a sell off back to 11.90 support level.

All the best everyone!
