RuudVanNisteroy: But the society stinks. Publish the arrest of fraudsters and watch how people would come to their defense. No society can accomplish anything if corrupt practices are accommodated by a generality of the people. Forget the "religious" houses. They too are a cesspool of iniquity. 2 Likes |

Golan007: I've noticed this tendency, especially with what goes on in South Africa. The locals are called lazy because they don't delve in criminality like the Nigerians - drugs, fraud, prostitution, cellphone theft, etc. Nigerians view this as a weakness. 7 Likes |

TMKsouth: Nigerians are ambitious. They may consider people to be lazy if they aren't seen to be interested in enterprise whether good or bad. The real issue is that a good number of the society engage in corrupt practices, even those with regular jobs. 5 Likes |

RuudVanNisteroy: I don't know, they are out of sight, and frankly not as many as Nigerians would like to believe. South Africans are accustomed to the so-called Nigerian hustler in the city centers. They are often unruly and their neighbourhoods are characterised by decay, much like what you find in Lagos. Another neighbourhood hijacked by Nigerians is YEOVILLE. 3 Likes
