You are nearsighted. Go to a reputable Optometrics and get an eye test and you will be fitted with corrective eye glasses. It's very easy because millions of people have nearsightedness. It's nothing to be afraid of.

The drugs used include.

It is so bad that I don't see subtitles when watching movies on TV.

Many times, people pass and wave at me from afar and I will see the person waving but the face will be blurry.

But when reading, I don't use glasses because I can see very well no matter how Tiny the writing may be.
This is exactly what the condition am experiencing . been to several hospitals, the eyes specialist couldn't see or detect any issue with my eyes but my vision keep declining everyday.

You are short sighted. Go see an optician, they will just recommend glasses for you. I've been using mine since 2007 very frustrating

What you just narrated was the problem I faced while I was in secondary school.Someone will be a little close to me and be waving at me but I would not see his face clearly.I bought a lot of herbs,from agbo Jedi and ,yoyo bitters but it was still the same.One Yoruba woman who sells different herbs decided to mix different kinds of herbs for me but when I drank it I almost died of stomach pain.Na too much carbohydrates dey cause am.Mostly,garri.
But now I have recovered fully with the help of green tea.Go to any of the big supermarket,like spar,ShopRite,etc and look out for "QUALITEA GREEN TEA"A pack of 25 teabags is about #800.Boil hot water and dip one inside a teacup and drink it morning and night.Read the instructions on how to prepare it.It works like magic.

@ OP? Not likely...
Snap diagnosis is refractive error specifically myopia, simply called shortsightedness, an inability to see far objects well. What’s far is for different individuals’ eyes to determine though...so there are levels, for example a minus 1 myope can see farther than a minus 8 one ( who actually would need more powerful corrective lens). Your eyeballs are too long and as a result images for your eyes are formed in front of the retina (eye nerve and main sight powerbank). This makes far objects hazy and unclear, but your near vision would be very sharp. For example you would be able to see tiny print to read up close, very easily thread needles etc. I believe this is called accommodation (don’t remember so much).
You are probably a high myope, with resulting sharp accommodation abilities (viz thread needle etc)

What to do? Go to a hospital and get a proper refraction done for your eyes, ascertain your power and wear the proper glasses. Myopia tends to get better with age. Some (mild myopia) would spontaneously correct. Because of these, you will need to keep doing periodic refractions and adjusting your power through life. High myopes wear thick glasses. Contact lens are very available and cheap ya an extent too. Then there is the uncommonly done, costly corrective laser treatment.
They will rule out other eye disease at the hospital too, so be sure to go there.

Glasses doesn't fix your vision. it only aids the vision, moreover at times, myopia gets worse till the individual gets to a particular age, then it begins to stabilise.

Go and see ophthalmologist for eye examination so they can give you your ideal glasses prescription, you are probably using a wrong prescription at the moment. You can also use the opportunity to do a full eye exam, check your eye pressure, glaucoma screening, etc.

I have the same problem even doe I noticed mine way back in primary school @op you are not going to loose ur vision what you have is just myopia you can manage it with glass lens
