And unfortunately, either fees go up, or money is borrowed to keep up the nice buildings.

Basic education in the north is entirely or almost free. They do not charge their people. In Zamfara, free education comes with free 3meals per day in most of their GASS & GDSS.

Good looking facilities and environment for learning. Hopefully the poor and those almajiri kids get to have access to good formal education than being used as a source of income.

Building fantastic school buildings is not what really troubles me. What troubles me is that the people will not go to school.

The people just want to wake up, file to the front house of one alhaji shouting rankadede sir for their food.
