Responding to pm’s could mean that your device IP maybe tracked depending on how bad they want you, or your email address could be searched on social media or bet sites if you are the type that use nairaland email for several other purposes. Remembering all the guys that lost their life as a result of it back then in school makes me shed tears. Some even got frustrated and never finished school. Only a few made it through. They were only feared. They spent all their good time around women, drug and alcohol. Once you belong, your foolishness become activated to fight over the least of things. You become distracted, uncoordinated and violence insatiable. Today I have made progress in all aspect of life, to God be the glory. Mostly I thank my mother Mary for all her intercessions. Stupidity is when someone believe that unless you join cultism you cannot succeed in life. Blindness is when you believe that your success in life is because you joined cultism. You wouldn't have made it if you didn't join. Hopelessness is when you refuse to accept Christ in your life. 38 Likes 1 Share |

https://www.facebook.com/378496789374369/posts/exposed-45-cultists-slangs-and-their-meaning-be-at-alert-in-grave-situation-bein/621961418361237/ It was neither a fiction, nor hearsay, but a true account of the author’s foray into the dark world of cultism as an undergraduate, and the sheer vanity that climaxed his escapades and nearly despatched him to the great beyond. Yet, it is an account of how unsuspecting youths who gained admission to the nation’s tertiary institutions were lured with promises that seemed too tantalising to resist; but turned out to be a death sentence in the end. Olurin is the author of the yet-to-be-launched book ‘I am not a cultist: Not everybody gets a second chance’, which chronicles his life as a notorious cult member who dominated his ‘territory’ with ease and ‘deleted’ those who could not genuflect or kowtow to his authority. Going down memory lane, the author recalls how indifference on the part of his parents led to their misconception about his true identity. He therefore warns parents to always pay attention to their children’s future as they grow, to identify their character traits. “If I would be honest,” Olurin begins, !i was desperately in love with power; it was this quest that made me crave power for control of everything around me. I must admit I always wanted the world to revolve around me – my comfort, pleasure and convenience. I desired that others see and interpret everything through my eyes, make me happy, meet my needs, and refrain from offending, upsetting or irritating me. I wanted to be understood, acknowledged, appreciated, praised, valued, attended to, catered for, respected admired and listened to. I love to be in absolute control.” And when he eventually secured admission into the polytechnic, the author began to look for individuals that would help fulfill his long-time cravings; he soon found them. His life in their company was rosy, but for a short while; until he was one day tricked, alongside other unsuspecting students, into joining a social club. They were then ferried into a jungle where they were initiated into cultism. However, he and others soon realised the anticipated life of bliss once dangled before them had melted into a life of discomfort. Their lives were remotely controlled by ‘superior’ colleagues; and the ‘lower ranked’ have little chances of protesting because the system is simply autocratic. “For instance,’’ the author says, “the superior can order a member not to appear on campus for the next one week. Such one would suddenly be given a mission to keep him busy outside campus. That could make someone fail a course. The superior can collect a junior member’s belongings for more than a semester and may not even return them. In other cases, if the member is the brilliant type, he could be asked to write exam for the superior leaving his own studies unattended to.” Olurin says parameters for being lured into cultism are anchored on a tripod – physical, financial, and intellectual ‘ruggedity’. Ruggedity, Olurin explains, simply means capability; noting that physical ruggedity translates to muscular or well-built individuals who can be trusted to lead an onslaught against perceived individual or rival groups on or beyond campus. Financial ruggedity involved those with rich parental background whose resources are often deployed to oil the group’s operations either through procurement of weapons, or providing funds for logistics in the event of an attack against rival groups or bribing security officials to get their arrested members off the hook should problem arise. Intellectually ruggedity are the eggheads who impersonate for other members during examination. But, generally, students who are curious about excessive or extravagant life of certain individuals on campus or rather those who simply want to ‘belong’ by associating themselves with these high spenders, are also easy targets as their curiosity lead them to what they never planned for. The book also highlights the organogram in cultism. A unit is charged with recruiting new members. There is another department which disseminates information to members; and still the account unit collects members’ dues and levies; the security unit spearheads attacks; it has a sub-unit which takes care of weaponry; and another- a search unit’ usually scans new grounds for conducting initiation rituals for new entrants, to mention just a few. The book portrays some of the cult members, equipping themselves with ‘juju’ for spiritual protection which often makes them over confident and indulging them in more atrocities. However, the juju sometimes boomerangs in the heat of operation, leaving the wearer with little or no chance of survival. Olurin warns young ladies on campus who are easily attracted to young but rich and influential males that appear to have whatever they want at the tip of their fingernails. Once a lady finds two male undergraduates threatening brims and fire against each other because of her, then its time she runs off, the author advises. Some cult groups also court the friendship of prominent unions and individuals across academic and non academic staff who are close to the management, and therefore can use their influence to tilt judgment in their favour whenever the need arises. Even though he admonishes lecturers and other senior workers to be sociable to students, Olurin warns them to desist from any secret affair or undue familiarity with them. Rather, they should be in inspiration leading students aright and pointing to them the risk involved in associating with bad company. During his visit at The Nation’s corporate headquarters in Mushin, Lagos, Olurin, now a social crusader, said beyond the Pyrate Confraternity, which was established in University of Ibadan in 1952, with noble goals to fight colonialism and push for equal society, there is proliferation of various anti-social groups on campus laying claim to similar goals. He listed these as: Sea Lords or Buka; Air Lords or Supreme Eiye Confraternity; a.k.a Aiye; Klu Klux Klan (KKK), Mafia, among others. Once a cult member, forever a member, and the reality of sudden death is just a matter of time, Olurin explains. He says there are some cultists who manage to survive the stormy ambience of campus cultism, only to pay the ‘supreme price’ years after they have graduated. According to him, some met their waterloo from rival gangs on their wedding day or birthday, while others get killed during family vacation or old friends party. Recounting the inspiration behind the book, Olurin said: “This book aims to correct a very wrong notion for joining cult groups in our campuses today. With hundreds of promising individuals already killed across different campuses due to cult activities and even more thousands losing the essence of a hopeful future. A craving for power should never go overboard into ruin and damage to others and oneself. The desire for attention and control shouldn’t lead many more students to engage in vicious and destructive vice,” …And then “I’m not a cultist’ was born. https://thenationonlineng.net/my-life-as-a-cultist/ 11 Likes |

It is now glaring that secret cults and her members permeate the entire Nigerian society from high school students to Governors and law makers. Cultism has moved from who controls the campus to who controls the State and Federal Houses of Assemblies, Reps, Senators, Governors and other public offices. Surprisingly enough, no Nigerian State or National leader past or present has had the political will or moral prowess to stop or at least decisively deal with the menace. Yes, cultism has become a menace to the Nigerian society. Cultism has been incentivized by Nigerian politicians and glamorized by low-life members. These cult members are psychologically depraved, unconscientiously ruinous and emotionally bankrupt with no value for human life. From Rivers to Edo State Houses of Assembly, we have seen again and again how cultists have hijacked the governments. It is no longer an intellectual law-making debates or supremacy of ideas that take place in our Houses of Assemblies or the people’s business in Government Houses. It is now about which cult group carries the day. What transpired in Rivers State House of Assembly on July 9th and 10th is just a tip of the iceberg. Sadly, it is only in Nigeria that these low-lives behave like emperors and warlords. Once they cross the shores of Nigeria, they become vegetative and useless to themselves. They cannot function productively. That is the case of a cult member (maybe former member(s)) I overheard in a restaurant in New York. For the sake of clarity, I will describe those discussing as friend 1 and friend 2. Friend 1: “O boy, this America self, it dey slow man well well ooo.” Friend 2: “My brother, no be small something.” Friend 1: “Sometimes I go look myself and say na me be dis?” Friend 2: “Wetin we go do?” Friend 1: “Before I leave naija, even wey I no dey work, I get reach 1.5 million naira for hand. Then election just finish. We get money well well from the election from LEVELs matter to run show. But for America you go work work you cannot even boast of $1,000 for account.” Friend 2: “Man no dey get all those kind quick quick side money for America. Even the credit card runs wey boys be dey do don dabaru.” Friend 1: “It get as it go be men, I go just go back to Naija. Some of my small boys dey ride Pajero Jeep now for runs wey dem do for the last election. You know how much for tear rubber Pajero wey dem get?” Friend 2: “I hear too oo. So that rumor na true?” Friend 1: “Na true na. You be think say na lie? This my guy so we be room-mate for campus then.” Friend 2: “Thank God you just remind me. How far for your school? You don fit finish the program?” Friend 1: “Finish wetin? I no sure if I go even fit go back to the school again. My GPA too low so dem put me on probation”. Since then, I no fit go back again. I try make I jack jack I no fit my brother. Family wahala for Naija come join am. Bring money bring money na him dem know.” Friend 2: “I understand brother. If na Naija now we for send MEN make dem go talk to the lecturers na.” Friend 1: “Wetin we dey talk since? I for don finish the school tay tay na if na Naija”. America men, person no fit try those kind thing.” Friend 2: “Exactly the same thing na him happen to Sunday wey he dey New Jersey. Guy man finally lock up for school matter”. Friend 1: “Like say I fit finish the school men, I for don get better job by now. I dey dodge when I see some people wey we be start life together for America wey dem fit finish school. Dem get good jobs and dey make better money.” Friend 2: “It go be, it go be.” Friend 1:”You hear say all those boys just dey pluck each other again for naija? You hear wetin happen for Benin?” Friend 2: “Na dem know oo. Man don do that one pass. If dem wan kill themselves, make dem dey do am for there. I dey think how I want take better for here na him I go come get time for CONFRA matter?” Friend 1: “ O boy if person dey that Naija, na him he get time for useless things. For here you no get time to waste for useless things.” Friend 2: “If I leave here, na work I dey go till tomorrow morning. You know say weekend like this, all this America people dey like to enjoy. Dem go call off. So I dey always get overtime to work for weekend. Tomorrow na 16 hours I go work.” Friend 1: ”That overtime na him dey still dey make man fit get extra change oo.” Friend 2: “I dey go. We go talk later. Bye bye.” Friend 1: “Me go leave here now once I finish this beer. Bye bye.” Obviously, you can tell that these guys are frustrated because they cannot unleash their salvage cultist activities in the US. Unfortunately, there are no professors for cultists to intimidate in America to pass their courses. You fail, you fail, you pass you pass. There are no politicians in America to give them cash and buy them guns and SUVs to kill and maim people. Any attempt or group of attempts or attempted attempts, America will prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law. So, my question for young Nigerians that have taken to cultism and those want-to-be cultists is simple: Does it make sense to join a nocturnal group that will not add any value to your life and will in all likelihood shorten your life on Earth? If becoming a cult member will only provide temporary youthful exuberance and euphoria in Nigeria and cannot add value to your life outside that environment, then Cultism is useless and even more useless to Nigerians in the United States and those that plan to immigrate out of Nigeria someday. God bless you and may God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Paul Omoruyi Blog (www.diasporascope.com) 15 Likes |

Becoming a cultist was his dream He didn't think about the downside He just wanted power He wanted the influence He wanted the babes He wanted the glamour He wanted the deference He wanted it all! His bunkmate in secondary school planted the seed. He talked about cultists in certain Universities he knew. He talked about the fear and terror they unleashed on university campuses. His bunkmate was a compelling storytellerThe type that seemed to tell a story over and over And you just want to listen to it again and again He mentioned the cult clashes The way some cult factions killed leaders of other cult factions He talked about the ones that couldn't be killed with bullets and other weapons Those ones whose heads had to be smashed before they could die Heroes and Villains was the colour He talked about a male hostel where cultists throw their adversaries into the well He talked about canals and forests He talked about sudden disappearances and the rest He was obsessed with cultism and he made his obsession infectious Then they brought a guy to their school"Irunmale" a former cultist who has given his life to Christ! Irunmale spoke of his daring exploits. It was like watching a James Bond movie. He said he walked through walls to talk to the vice-chancellor of the University he was attending! He talked about killing, maiming, and determining the destiny of other people. Just by being a cultist! It was the church that brought him Their aim was to convince them not to join any cult because cults are dangerous. But it had the opposite effect on Him He wanted to take the place of Irunmale He wanted to be the "Kunrunmi" of cultism The criminal generalissimo, don and capon of the criminal underworld! He set his heart on it! But he didn't know how to go about it When he finished secondary school He gained admission into the university. He started frolicking the dark places mixing with the dark characters Expecting a summon, an invitation, a sign He wanted to be initiated so badly He was willing to pay for it! He picked up all the habits he thought would be required to prove he was a tough guy He started smoking cannabis and drinking heavily He was always involved in one brawl or the other He would sit at the back of the classroom and harass ladies and other students Rumours started floating about him that he was a cultist He loved it! He told his roommates tales of his adventures He built the myth and it was very easy for the stories to stick because of his lifestyle! A female student approached him one day and gave him a business card He was to call the phone number on the card by 1 AM the next night He did! The voice told him to there will be an initiation into a certain cult at 1 AM on the following week! The voice told him it will be a strongman event and many who walked into the initiation ceremony might end up being buried "We only take the strong and the able, we eliminate the weak and the feeble" The Voice told him the initiation ceremony will happen somewhere in Osun State! He was given a venue and time.He packed his bags the next morning! He went straight to a village in Osun State He had been told of a herbalist who had a reputation for turning mortals into demons! As soon as he told the herbalist what he wanted the process began! He was given the full dose He ate concoctions, was given incisions, sat on mortars and had a series of demonic baths! After five days without food and water except for alligator pepper and incantations, he was shot at and the bullet bounced back! He was hacked by cutlasses to no effect He had become an initiate. A custodian of demons and demonic substance! He left the grove in the wee hours of the sixth day! He boarded a bus from the Oshogbo. It was one of those buses that would drive through the city looking for early morning passengers who didn't want to waste time at the motor park He was the first person on the bus and chose a choice seat in front of the vehicle! The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt was "chasing a babe" at Obafemi Awolowo University at the time! The lady was celebrating her birthday and he had to be there! The brother in Jeans and T-shirt took the last seat on the bus! The brother in Jeans and T-shirt sat in the middle seat in between the driver and the "cult" boy The journey commenced! They took the Gbongan Oshogbo roadTwenty-minutes into the journey they came across a highway patrol The police officers on duty stopped the bus and engaged the driver. The conversation dragged on and on Suddenly the bus conductor panicked He opened the door of the bus, jumped down and ran into the forest His movement distracted the police officers. Some ran after him into the forest. The driver also took advantage of the distraction. He jumped down and ran into the forest too. The other passengers jumped down and ran off too. The time was around 8 AM. Apparently, they had boarded a bus full of a criminal gang of escaped convicts! It all happened in the twinkle of an eye They were in the middle of nowhere! The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt were the last two remaining, they alighted from the bus. The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt asked him where he was going He said "Ile-ife! I have a meeting later tonight" The brother in Jeans and T-shirt told him he was going to celebrate a babe he was chasing at OAU! The babe was a law student at the time and very Born Again! She would be clocking 23! They walked away from the police checkpoint hoping to get another bus that would convey them to their destination. As they talked, he asked the Brother in Jeans and T-shirt why he was not scared when the criminals started jumping off the bus. The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt asked him the same question. He told the Brother in Jeans and T-shirt about his newfound power It gave him confidence, power, dread over his enemies, invincibility, immortality and superiority! The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt started laughing. "You have been deceived! You don't have any power!" shouted the Brother in Jeans and T-shirt. He didn't like that! The fact that a novice would rubbish his hard earned power so easily! The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt said "I sneaked out of my school yesterday came to Oshogbto see a friend and I am now on my way to Ile-ife to see a lady I admire! You were just coming from the power grove! And yet, the two of us are here, side by side, isn't that evidence enough that you didn't have any power? He said: My powers will manifest if people want to hurt me but I can also do an incantation and make things happen! The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt said "Do the incantation" He opened his mouth, but the words got stuck in his throat! The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt expected him to say something but he didn't! The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt also kept quiet! They had been walking for almost twenty minutes. A bus arrived! They boarded it and got to Ile Ife about an hour later. No further words were exchanged between them! When the Brother In Jeans and T-shirt got to Moremi hall, he saw the lady! He took her to Golden Mother restaurant! They celebrated her birthday cheerfully He left her school at 4pm He had to be back in Bowen University before 6pm! He forgot all about the incidence! Two days later, the Brother in Jeans and T-shirt was in school when he was notified that he had visitors at the school gate! When he got there, he saw the "cult" boy! and an elderly man who introduced himself as the cult boy's Father (From the way the man was dressed, he was of another religion). He had not been able to speak for three days! Not one word! He had gone back to the grove and tried other means but nothing worked He was advised to seek out the "person" he offended! He came to apologise for his misdeeds! The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt was taken by surprise! Nothing that happened was planned or rehearsed! Even he didn't know what had happened! "Would you like to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?" The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt asked him The "cult boy" nodded! The brother in Jeans and T-shirt laid hands on him and commanded his tongue to be loosed! It was loosed immediately! The "cult boy" was shocked! He said "He wanted to say some incantations to show off his newfound power, but while the words were in his mind, he couldn't open his mouth at all to speak! That was why he kept quiet! He said he tried to speak when he got to Ile-Ife but the words refused to come out He couldn't participate in the initiation ceremony He returned to the grove the next morning He was told he had offended someone and only the person can set him free That was why he went home to get his Father! He was hoping that the presence of His Father would sway the brother in Jeans and T-shirt to forgive him. He acknowledged that he really didn't have any power The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt hugged him "I love you, and I was not offended at all" The cult boy started crying! With tears in his eyes, he renounced his past deeds and gave his life to Jesus! Confessing that Jesus is indeed Lord of all! PS: The cult boy is now a missionary spreading the fragrance of Christ in the countries of West Africa! His father and siblings (His mother died when he was much younger have all given their lives to Christ through his ministry) Conjurers and sorcerers can do a little trick here and there! But when Jesus shows up! Or when a believer shows up! Everything bows! Jesus is not a joke or an exclamation! In the life of a believer, he awakens great powers and abilities in us that we do not even know we have! Let every other name fade away... (This event happened in 2007) The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt didn't marry the lady (It wasn't meant to be) She is happily married He is happily married too Cultism is a waste of time and destiny. If you are a cultist and you're reading this You really need to turn from that dead-end. Call on Jesus now! He will turn your life around right now! https://www.gbengawemimo.com/post/the-cultist 12 Likes |

BY VERA WISDOM-BASSEY He used to be Nigerian politicians’ Man Friday, the ultimate Mr. Fixer in our murky world of politics. He used to kill and maim for them, at a paltry sum. If you are looking for the fastest way to eliminate a perceived formidable opponent, to pave the way for you to contest and win in an election, all you need to do is to contact Prince Samuel Godwin and his gang members (names withheld) and the job will be done for you in a jiffy. Political killings in cold blood – those were the kinds of job that 25-year-old Godwin and his gang members used to be engaged in before he called it quits. Today, he is no more killing for politicians. In fact, he is angry with them and would not want to take up such bloody job offer any more, no matter how much you want to pay him. As Korede Bello sang in his hit song, “Godwin,” God now has the upper hands in Godwin’s life. Journey into the world of cultism Sharing the testimony of how he got in and out of the killer gang at a revival programme organized recently by The Lord’s Chosen Church, founded by Pastor Lazarus Muoka, Godwin attributed his “deliverance” to the prayers of his mother and the mercy of God. Godwin, an indigene of Omoma Local Government Area in Rivers State, said he used to be a brilliant schoolboy, and was well on his way to becoming a marine engineer, his life ambition, when fate pulled a fast one on him by aborting the dream through his involvement in cult and cultism. In fact, he was one of the brilliant students his then school principal had in mind to recommend to Shell Oil Company for scholarship to institutions of higher learning. Unfortunately, it was at that point he was lured into the cult by a classmate whose life was in danger, for failing to undergo the cult’s initiation rites, because of his asthmatic illness. He was then asked to bring a replacement to save his life. The placement turned out to be his bosom friend, Godwin. According to Godwin the young man was asthmatic and the cult members could not initiate him but requested he gets somebody else before they could release him. So he came for him and that was how he became involved in the cult. The first born in a family of three, he revealed that he joined the cult while in SSS 3. Then based in Port Harcourt where he used to live, he later moved to Bayelsa State where he grew through the ranks and later became the “Lord and Master” of the club/cult. During the first attempt on him to join the club, he was offered N200, 000 but he refused. But on January 2, 2009 as he went outside the school premises to buy drug he met two men waiting outside the school gate in a car. The moment he made to pass them, they came out, reached out, grabbed him and forcibly pushed him into the car and drove off at a breakneck speed, while pointing a gun at his head. At the end of the journey, they took him to their lodge where they threatened to kill him if he refused their offer to join the club willy-nilly. Fearing for his dear life, he readily agreed and they immediately started the process of initiation in a gruesome manner by chopping off the third finger on his right hand. Then they put underneath the bleeding finger a native pot with which they collected the blood gushing out of his hand. Next, they mixed it with gin and gave to everybody including Godwin to drink as a proof of covenant/pact he’s entered into with the cult. For three days, he did not return home but was held at the lodge. This got his mother worried. But he was more than compensated for the loss and pain he endured when while leaving he was given N1 million naira. With the money, he went on a shopping spree for the first time in his life. On getting home his surprised mother questioned him intently on the source of the money he used in buying the items that he brought home. When he couldn’t give her convincing answer, his mother, a strong Christian, decided to distance herself from what she saw as his ill-gotten wealth. But she ceased not to pray for his repentance and conversion. Encounters and experiences that shaped his life Barely a year after he was trained on how to use a gun he went on his first operation with the gang, in which they were paid to wipe out the family of a Rivers State politician from Abonema. According to his testimony, after killing the man and his son, he pointed his gun at the man’s wife, intending to snuff life out of her. At that moment, the image of his mother suddenly appeared in his mind and he became weak, pulled back the gun and left. In the second operation, there was a shoot-out with security operatives, and, out of the 12 members of the gang that were involved in the mission which took place in a swampy area where none of them knew how to negotiate their way through by swimming, only Godwin survived. But at the hospital where he was being treated for bullet wounds that he falsely claimed to have sustained from an armed robbery attack, the doctor, on discovering some inconsistencies in his story, called in police detectives. Upon closer questioning, they discovered that he was one of the armed bandits that escaped from an operation sometime ago. He was immediately arrested, placed in police custody and later charged to court after he fully recovered. Originally sentenced to 14 years in jail, he spent one year and one month before politicians behind his escapades got a law court judge to grant him a parole. Making of charms and the Indian mystic angle On coming back out of jail, he was made the number one man of the gang. At this stage, he decided to go for ‘spiritual fortification’ by arming himself with charms that will make it possible for him to target police officers and politicians without being hurt or killed. To this end, he was linked with an Indian mystic who demanded N20 million from him before he could prepare such charms for him. As he did not have such amount of money anywhere, he contacted a popular politician (names withheld) who gave him the money and he paid. According to him, the mystic presented him with a coffin and asked him to lie in it. As he did, he suddenly found himself in India, although still wearing the same clothes he wore in Nigeria when he entered the man’s temple. Initially, he found himself inside a building, but as soon as the door was shut, the place became a forest. And inside the place was a pool of water. He was asked to enter into it. He did but surprisingly the water did not wet either his skin or clothes. Afterward, he was given the power he so much desired but with some stringent conditions for keeping it. At the end of the rite he was given a ring to wear as amulet. Among the conditions: (1) he must not eat any food cooked or prepared by a woman (2) he must not engage in sex act with a woman (3) he must not cross a woman’s urine. “How would you know a woman’s urine,” he asked rhetorically, “for me, it was a problem. I was told to be paying N400, 000 every month for the renewal of the charm’s potency.” As a result of the conditions, he took to sleeping from one hotel to another but he was not sleeping with the prostitutes he met there, nor eating anything cooked by a woman. Instead, he took to buying noodles from Mallams and cooking and eating. Sometimes, he would also go to their joints to drink tea with bread they are selling. He did not drink sachet water so that he would not come in contact with a woman. Rather, he used plastic bottle to fetch tap water which he drank. Godwin recalls: “After that, I had powers and money was coming to me as much as I needed because nobody could arrest me. In fact, they could not see me to arrest even if they come. If we were robbing, nobody would see me. One day, when I got to a bank to open an account, I saw the Indian man following me. But nobody saw him except me. He told me that a bullion van would be leaving the bank that day at three o’clock. So I quickly rounded off my transactions so that I could go get my gun and rob the bullion van. There was serious traffic jam on the road. This made the bullion van to follow one way. The moment I opened fire, everybody ran helter skelter including the policemen. That way I was able to stop the van and empty its content into the vehicle I used to block its way.” Dirty and deadly games Nigerian politicians play He says he’d lost count of people he killed after he acquired powers. “They were probably hundreds.” Talking about the cult, he avows the members’ job was to “assassinate people; they are paid by politicians to assassinate political opponents. Once they are on a mission they accomplish their mission.” He says of the cult founded in 1999 that, “when any politician calls them on any mission they quickly respond.” Today, Godwin who claims to be born again after an angel reportedly appeared to him in a dream and warned him to quit the business and surrender his life to God, confesses that he hates politicians with a passion. “The cult was established because of the politicians,” he insists. “They use Nigerian youths to kill innocent Nigerians for sacrifice and at the end of the day they (politicians) would donate N500, 000 to the families of any of the members of the gang who lost his life in the process. The money they give to the family of our deceased members would still go back to them by spiritual means. I am coming from there, so I know what games politicians play when it comes to matters of money.” https://www.sunnewsonline.com/confession-of-25-year-old-ex-cultist/ 2 Likes |

Growing up in the type of neighborhood, Ebuka did what probably led him to the part of death. Our neighborhood was pretty rough, everywhere stank of poverty. This was reflected in the way gutter overflowing with black smelling dirty water, gushing into a path leading into someone's very doorstep. Everyone live in a one room apartment, so no one is staying indoors that much. the street is always lively, unclad children chasing themselves round a pile of decaying rubbish close to their window. Women pushing dirty breast into their latest kid's mouth while other one who is barely one and half years struggling for his own turn to suck from the same breast. That was the type of neighborhood we lived in.--Anita said. Everyone went to the old government secondary school somewhere around the town but just few continue with there dream of entering into the higher institution. When my widowed mother first founded out that my brother has started smoking weeds, he was just in SS2. It wasn't much of a surprise though. In a street where a sixteen years old girl already had an active sex life, it was almost like my mother has been waiting for it to happen. In a way she thought my brother would never start doing weed; he was too gentle for that! what my mother didn't know was that he sold weeds too. so when special force of police (SARS) unit in Enugu, started looking for him, he had to jump through the window to escape. That was when mother became shock to her marrow. Mother was highly disappointed. She loved my brother blindly. We were just two siblings. My brother and I. My brother is like her last hope. "you will grow up to become a man and bring Justice to Daddy" mother will said. "So this is how you want to kill me!" She had screamed at him three weeks after he returned from his hiding out in the villages when the heat has died down. My brother always never said much, just apologised and left the house. Soon we forgot it ever happened till rumors starting flying around in my street. I remember hearing that first from my best friend Ogechi (talkative) "I heard your brother is now a hot man for the cult" Ogechi said with expression of fear and dissatisfaction. Ogechi had a mad crush with my brother. So she had made it a point of her duty to know anything and everything about my brother. I had quarreled with her for two weeks after that. Mother and I never believed the story.- Ebuka is too gentle for that! Till that fateful day. There was a playing groud in front of our house, every Sunday guys do come there to play football. I remember doing laundry just in front of the door, my brother was playing football. Occasionally I will look up to admire one of the boys I had crush on who was also playing. I guess I was the first person to see them, about four boys slowly entered the field from difference direction. My brother and a few other boys on the field, who I guess were also in his own fraternity saw the boys and I noticed an expression of terror across their faces, they had obviously recognized them. Then I saw one of the boys who just entered the field, pull out his gun, people started running, my brother made to escape but ended up running into one of the other guys. At this point I was screaming wildly. The first bullet caught him on his arm, he screamed and push the guy who shot him and turn towards another direction. He took the next bullet on his leg. He screamed out in pain, tears were running down his face now but he still managed to drag his body across the field. The next bullet went straight to his head, exploding and scattering his brain around the playing ground. One of the guys just calmly walked up to him and using the axe, butchered his head. https://www.facebook.com/EzeobiTC/photos/life-of-a-cultista-true-life-story-by-anitagrowing-up-in-the-type-of-neighborhoo/1945209519115547/ |

Livelyguy:the thing is my E-mail address is somewhere on a thread in the career section.and this my only nairaland account. Thanks for the concern sha.i've made up my mind concerning what to do about the one who issued the threat. More stories coming up soon!! We should try and show our young ones trying to get admission to tertiary institutions this thread so that they will know all about cultism, thereby making it hard for cultists to entice them. A lot of prospective admission seekers don't even know they could be killed by their own cult members.many of them haven't heard of bkb(brothers killing brothers,a sad but common occurrence among cultists.hs don't have an idea about this because these cult groups always keep bkb cases hidden among themselves)before... It will surprise a lot of people to know that a prominent cultist they know that got attacked was actually attacked by his fellow flat-mates and not rivals. Just like saynotocultism said about the axe man who got crippled by his fellow aiyes.jews who know him will thought he was attacked by either Vikings or eiye, but he was actually attacked by his fellow brothers who succeeded in making his legs useless. A bkb case almost claimed my life when I was an eagle(two airlords lost their lives and a lot got serious injuries.i was very lucky to escape alive,i almost got drowned while trying to flee). The bkb case was caused by the greed and selfishness of a world ostrich(we call him a world bird truly, but he didn't graduate in school). The irony of it was that all the non-cults students thought eiye frat was been attacked by another strong cult group, whereas it's the same group attacking itself just because of the greed of a former leader.only some few members of rival groups know that it was eiye members fighting and killing themselves. An aromate(Vikings)friend, chuks, lost his life in a bkb case. prospective admission seekers, let's be guided please.there's no good in cultism.forget whatever they might tell you while trying to toast you to belong, there's nothing good there.you're better off as a Jew/hs...most of the guys Trying to lure you to belong, are not at peace with themselves.fear of the unknown always make them evade classes and exams.in the long run, they hardly graduate from school.some don't even get to write their final papers.kids flee from this The day I was assaulted by alora members while on an eiye mission with two other airlords is another story coming up soon. 22 Likes |
