Am Miui Epic rom on my mia1, based on Miui 10

The developer dropped another one for Miui 12 already which I am willing to download.

I want to know if flashing the Miui 12 will keep my files or will remove it all( will be using TWRP).

It is better to backup your files. I lost my files going from 11 to 12 although it's quite unusual but anything can happen

It's a custom ROM, anything can happen. If you can contact the dev it would be best to find out if the files will be carried over or not. I prefer clean flashing ROMs instead of Dirty flashing.

Chinese Version have lesser LTE Bands it favours bands China use sometimes you find just one or two bands for Nigeria. You have limited access to fonts and themes compared to the Global version. Also the ROM doesn't come with Google apps though it can be side-loaded, but it misbehaves sometimes and you will have to deal with some bloatwares and some Chinese language sometimes

Change region to India. Go to theme app search for fonts, download and apply selected font. Then you can now change back to Nigeria Region.

Note Region can be found in additional settings

The 720p screen is what kept me away from Mi A3. I just went for a 2-year-old pixel 2xl that time. Would've loved to have that device last year due to its AMOLED screen.

If you can, get the DualShock 4 controller (PS4) it works effortlessly on the Redmi Note 7, should work well on others. Make sure it's original as well. All you need to do is Bluetooth pair and you're good to go. Works on CoD Mobile with little input lag.

You can also try some of the IPEGA controllers but I haven't used those to verify how good they are.

rooting is required to enable Bluetooth pairing.
