Been there several times, you hardly get request to come back to proper Lagos. Instead you will get request to inner part of Ikorodu. Owutu isawo, igbogbo, ijede, imota, Agbede, Agbede meeting, odogunyan etc. The road to these places are damaging to cars.

He does not drive on Uber

He does not drive on Bolt

But then, you used that as a defence when you were asked the feasibility of a driver raising 30k for rental weekly on E-hailing when we had the 6am to 9pm curfew

Why didn't you state that he does cabu-cabu or interstate runs with it?

No need to argue about this, but please, don't mislead people

If your driver is getting by outside ehailing, please don't use it as an example. You'll indirectly mislead people reading and also make hardworking drivers look stupid.

Ocar still needs to do a lot of marketing to pull in more drivers.

Give that to Bolt, even if what Uche is going to tell you, you already know it, dem go still send you message just to remain relevant in your mind.

After their bikes were rusticated from Lagos roads, people have dumped the app

Their bike was their marketing strategy. It was through their bikes we knew Ofood, and then Ocar showed up (abi na Oride)

I remember a driver here showed his earnings driving only on Ocar for one day, and it was good.

After the bike left, people may have assumed that the other services died.

If you narrowed your view on strictly e hailing, I didn't and wouldn't

This is what it is bruv, business!! We were talking about contemporary challenges we all have to contend with, compare notes and possibly proffer solutions.

For me, without mincing words,if a driver would hold on to a car and want to move it about without being able to pay agreed installments or rentals, u are obliged to fulfill your terms.

If not, you have no business holding on to the car.

I only asserted what was obtainable on my side, and if you were so keen to know how,all you just need do was ask.

Yep, July. See attached

ekehopp:
Bolt and Uber have both responded to my DM on Twitter. I asked them about resumption and onboarding of new drivers, as the world reopens after pandemic induced lockdown.

And based on their response I've decided to take my mind off Uber/Bolt till July. At least I've done my bit with full registration. Just for them to do thiers (training and activation/onboarding).

I'm surprised a partner is suggesting his drivers can breach an agreement just so you can have your 30k.

As long as your 30k is made, you don't mind if your driver uses your car to carry Agbara to Owode/Idiroko abi?

Like I said, I have no issues if you charge 200k Daily for your car. I didn't even join the argument and would never.

I implore you try and stick to valid points on Ehailing, and not Business when discussions on forging past difficulties arise

People are reading, and you please, try to state things as they are.

No one is trying to drag you under the bus bruv,
I will never allow my drivers do cabu cabu, If it works for others, it's fine........ but not me.

I am in transport and logistics business and not merely an Uber or Bolt partner. If you have your car strictly for e hailing, good luck with that.

However, I am sure you know partners could possibly find business for their drivers.if you need know, you can get contracted to some organizations on transport and logistics for their staff, goods and services.

Car is working, driver is earning, partner is also earnings.

Your view or my view isn't the best view all the time grin

...No lies bruv. I've made more money doing drops dis period than on Uber (Only God knows what's happening to my bolt account. I have to wait till they resume)
....Tho I don't encourage going to the mainland cus Police/LASTMA on the island are more sensible and according to one passenger (they need to respect themselves cus dey don't know who is who)
...I only go from Ajah to CMS, morning and evenings, if I get Uber trips in the afternoons fine, if not I go home and sleep for evening rush
...Tho Its not All fun like Bolt, but I wind up with full A.C. nd 4 passengers, most tyms I pick full load @ VGC. Fire down to CMS, sometimes even before people wake up fully I've made 4k.
....Truth is no Mata how hard it is in lag..People will always move around if you're ready to move them - UcheTaxify2018 cheesy
How much is CMS to Ajah and where do you drop off your passengers at CMS? There’s also problem of change, someone will give you 1000 Naira note for a trip of 100/200.

Today is very dry. My bolt app was on for 2hours between 2-4pm. Not a single request entered.
