NAACP was formed with a combo effort by both races and had white leaders initially.

The marches of the 60s had a lot of whites involved too although by this time blacks had taken over leadership of the movement.

I have no problem with Caucasian, Asian, Jewish etc who either “have found religion” or were always silent objectors to the injustice and inequality.
It is those ones with history (in some cases, recent history) of racist or racially biased behavior and/or utterances that are now forming “woke” that draw my ire.

I am talking about the NFL owners that blackballed Colin Kaepernick, the politicians and journalists that have always spoken out against the BLM movement. All those with history of racist/anti-BLM tweets and statements.

Anyway as you know, UK politics is extremely different to US. That's why the two-faced thing hits really differently for me.

My office is based in London, the home of the majority of black people in the UK. For 2 years, the company had only 1 black guy on their books. I joined last year, and that guy left, so I was the only black guy in the office until one other guy was hired during lockdown

How can you be talking about BLM when as a London based company, you don't even recruit niggas? That was the irony for me.

And that's the irony of the 'white alliance' in UK. Because racism in UK is very rarely in your face like in Yankee, a lot of these closet racists, can play woke and maybe not even believe that they are racist....and it rankles for me.

Our EFCC is an incompetent organization. They can't make charges stick on confirmed criminals ranging from corrupt politicians to yahoo boys. Maybe because they don't retain good prosecutors on their books o or maybe those ones get bribed and leak details of their investigations to the accused's defence attorney. I don't even know, but EFCC no dey try at all.

I wished that mompha issue was handled by any foreign agency and not our own EFCC. Just look at how Ibori's case was handled....I don't even know if it's judiciary system in Nigeria that is more corrupt or the EFCC.
