It’s like saying a Nigerian that was born outside this country can’t be appointed to a political post here.

No problem. There are Cross River indigenes in the civil service of other states and in private employment. They would also merit positions and would be kicked out.

let the needful be done. Even though she's not from the state but married from the state she shouldn't be denied of her right. Afterall she has worked for the state all these years, why now that she has got to that level.

The Chief Justice of Rivers State is from Edo state, married to a Yoruba. Justice Adama Iye Iyayi-Lamikanra. Her Husband is Oladejo Lamikanra

Rivers state Na Senior Boys State. No time for pettiness. I personally believe Been Ayade doesn't want this Akwa Ibom woman, especially after Akwa Ibom made Cross River an oil-less state.
