I just witnessed a truck destroying a Toyota Camry (most likely to be Uber) at ogolonto b/stop ikorodu.
The driver's side tyre and vender destroyed.
The guy was trying to block the trailer and some soldiers around were ready to help him but unfortunately for the driver of the red lagbus bus I entered started shouting that the Camry driver was at fault and the Naval soldier in the bus testified to it and talked to the soldiers to free the Trailer.
I felt so bad for the action of the lagbus driver and shouted, "oga go drop us àbí wetin be your own".
I pity the Camry driver cos the damage was just too much at this Corona period.. But thank God for his life.
that's how Brt bus scattered my side mirror yesterday around owode onirin bus stop

It seem you like working on the mainland.
I live on the mainland but prefer doing trips within Ikoyi and sangotedo axis. The peace of mind that comes with it is unexplainable.

P:S : If anyone here has a partner giving out cars (Honda civic/Kia Rio/Elantra) for rentals, please recommend me. I have sold my Ford Mondeo so i need something to keep me busy for few months.
I spoke with the contacts dropped on this thread and their expectations are unrealistic.

Boss I wish u took some time out to figure some tins before letting go of the Mondeo, like I once told u to sell and get a good Honda civic 04.

As per if 20k is obtainable? You know it just ingrain in me why CeCe Winans sang it wasn't easy, 2 days and all I could gross is 10k, if u find urself on ever busy sanusi, u can park anyhow, even in front of bank, that security man that used to say don't park there, is ready to engage you in gist. I honestly don't know how rental peeps meet up, the only reason I go out everyday now is just to rob hand with sometin and at the same time don't stay idle while I use head figure out stuffs when I'm alone. Inbtw: I'm grateful, I've been doing motivational speaker for folks that has lost their job for some days now, it's is well boss, I know someday dis whole stress will b worth it. Well I’ve not been driving actively but I managed to gross 14k today (9am-8:30pm) with breaks in between. 15k is not bad for weekly rentals though.

Hope you re setting money aside to pay outstanding debt, Cos by time you minus fuel money, 20% commission and feeding and data and call cards and other small expenses, nah small portion of 17k will remain. Dashboard earning is not the best way to know how much you actually earn, it is final money in your bank account after expenses, Forget that crap

Some other time leave "gross" alone. Talk about your Net. No one is interested in your gross. Gross makes you think you have made enough. But by the time you deduct all the deductibles what remains is the reality.
So keep your dashboard bro.

I hope you will show us the dash again tomoro? grin

Look at what I earned since May 4th Lockdown was eased till now. I can't boost of 30k in my bank account from this 2months earnings. 20% commission, outstanding debt, Cash Discount, low fares, buying of Fuel, Car repair and maintenance took 80% of the so called earnings. What baffles me most is that you see Big figures on Dashboard, but in reality you actually earn little money. You will be making a big mistake if you judge your performance with dashboard earning.

First of all, you don’t have any business with what my net is. You can use the ongoing commission rate to calculate it. I only answered a question with proof. Did you see where i said ‘managed?’ Which goes to show that it is not a regular occurrence; heck I’ve not been driving regularly.

If you think I put that dashboard there to showoff, well you might be correct but that would solely remain your opinion and any other person’s that thinks along the same line.

Stop looking at the messenger and focus on the message.

I know that bolt account ban is wounding you. Calm yourself down.

Bruh whatever you do with your net earnings is nobody’s business. If not for bolt, would you have been able to pay outstanding debt and repair car etc? Stop shouting theres no money when you’re clearly jonzing.

I don't have anything against Bolt. They gave me platform to have accomplished alot. All this challenges is as a result of Covid19, I am trying to pass message to you being a veteran in business but you re hating on the messager instead of the message. Since I stopped using dashboard earning to measure my performance few years back, I have achieved some success in the business. You have to look beyond dashboard bro. The Business is more than dashboard earnings.

Honestly I don’t get your argument. How would any sensible driver think dashboard earnings is all his/her money. Of course you have to remove operating cost and the arrive at actual or net earnings.

Bro.
You're sounding more aggressive than diplomatic here.

Though we can't judge with dashboard, but if everyone can average 14k gross daily, I'm sure no one will talk of winter here again.

With my matrix, I can gross 14k with 3k fuel.
Remove it from the gross, then remove 2.8k bolt commission, plus 1k food.
That's 14 - (3+2.8+1) = 7.2k

7.2k into 6days = 43.2k per week.

Regardless, him grossing 14k today is pure luck and we all know that. Cos street keeps looking more dry by the day.

The only point I'm trying to make here is that we may not base our earnings on gross, but it's quite necessary for a better feasibility study.

For those going into rental agreement, 20k delivery is possible, but you might not have up to 5k for yourself after paying rent.
