OLAADEGBU:Clowns. We have been waiting for justice for over 4 years, but the justice had been catching Trump's associates instead. Justice is coming for Trump himself, immediately after he loses his immunity. Mr OLAADEGBU has graduated from a religious nutcase to a religious fundamentalist - David Koresh type. 3 Likes |

Qstorm:Trump is a wise man. Believe it or not, there's so much sense in everything trump does. His reasons are valid, just that the fake news media would be so ashamed to confirm its validity. Whatever game Trump is playing, he's playing it well. I was not a Trump supporter in 2016, but if you watch how his campaign went through, from declaration, attacks from media, democrats, republicans to his winning the presidency. Then to escaping the years of Mueller harassment, escaping impeachment, that should tell you how resilient, brave and tough he is. That should tell you Trump is the UNUSUAL. He had nothing to lose if he didn't become a president, maybe they wouldn't have harassed him with false accusations. Trump is the most conservative president America has ever had since Reagan. That's why the Republican Party has gotten to rally behind him so strongly. Even after he leaves office, he'd still influence republican politics in at least a decade. The media would be shocked by the record number Trump will turn out this election. They'll never see it coming! I'm with him till the end! 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Isn't it funny? Mitt Romney was labeled a racist and sexist by the liberal media in 2012. The left hated him with passion. Now he's their hero and favorite republican. Romney thinks doing all these would make liberals vote for him in block if he ever decides to run for president. What a delusional old man. What all those RINOs fail to understand is, it isn't about trump at all but against the republican party at a whole. They did worse to bush Jr, just but he wasn't loud like Trump, he let everything slide. Now Trump has come to call them out for who they really are. Republicans were not supposed to win the presidency ever again due to their so called demographic shift. They thought if they can seal Pennsylvania and Michigan it would become the next Illinois. Wisconsin wasn't even supposed to be in play at all but now it's a toss up state. They thought they've sealed it with the Obama coalition. Take it or leave it, future republicans now have a new path to the presidency, thanks to trump. 5 Likes 1 Share |

If Barry Goldwater, a landslide loser on 1964 was considered to have lunched or kick-started the face of new conservatism then Trump's era of conservatism has come to stay. Not that his style is different from other past presidents conservatism. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Nairaland Despot Opposes Dissent! www.nairaland.com/attachments/11703179_20200610094332809_jpeg_jpeg0e163a50a960654402159ac1afd3d928 No Freedom of Speech On Nairaland! You might think it odd that NL rulers would emulate the behaviour usually found in a fourth world country. You would be rather surprised however that its behaving more like a fifth world country! Earlier today, the TheSourcerer opened a thread titled If I Get Banned For This Then I Will Make It Worth It, lamemting the fact that threads about snakes and tachabb's tits are the only sort of threads that hit front page while intelligent ones don't. But when our despotic emperor saw it, he shut the thread down! How dare we, you might think, when we went on to report this despotic act of the emperor in a more prominent section on NL only to find it had been deleted too. I must say that this sort of overuse of authority and power is behaviour we Nigerians do know very well. Decree 4 of the Nigerian Government of 1984 was a draconian piece of legislation that allowed the government to imprison any journalist who embarrassed the country’s military leaders — a nebulous charge that was frequently invoked to muzzle the press and civil society during the 18 months of Buhari’s military rule, this nebulous rule was applied with fiat and at will and even resulted in the death of some of our more trustworthy journalists. The recently proposed Anti-social Media Bill wishes to give similar powers to the shut down dissent to the current administration, but it would seem that the despot emperor of NL can't be bothered to observe due process. He rules with fiat, leaves no avenue for disputation, feedback or suggestions; and just shuts down and deletes hreads or bans you. We might not complain, except that we have aforesaid that one must be the change that one would like to see. Besides, many are able to stick out their chest on NL at Buhari the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, so why would we not stick chest out at the despot emperor of NL! After all, unless he's been building prisons with the money that he hasn't spent developing NL for the future, all he can do is ban us! It is about time he realises that igi kan ki jẹ awa de, agbajọ ọwọ la fi sọ aya. Nations that don't evole past despotic rule end up being a zoo! The first step to fixing a problem is first admitting and recognizing that there is a problem. But when you have trump and his circus administration denying there is no racism In us law enforcement agency.. then you know he is big part of the problem. I hope People with eyes and functioning brain to see this problem should get rid off him first.. That would be the next step to fixing the problem. 1 Like |

A40:You nailed it perfectly Buddy, it's indeed a freak show. He will lose in Nov and even some of the Republican Senators are running away from him codedly. Imagine when Mayor Bloomberg start putting video montages of Trump almost 4 years of disaster up for Americans to see in 5D. The massive registration is going on full steam knowing 100 million Americans did not vote in 2016 and most of them are minorities and elderly people. Trump is toast because majority of Americans are tired of his buffoonery, divisivines, and serial lies. 2 Likes |

Dems get unexpected opening against Trump in Iowa https://www.politico.com/news/2020/06/10/trump-iowa-2020-307312 Since the start of the year, Democrats in Iowa have added about twice as many active voters to their rolls as Republicans, nudging ahead in total registration for the first time in years. The farm economy has been battered by the coronavirus pandemic. And though Trump still holds a small lead in the state, according to the RealClearPolitics polling average, he’s now airing TV advertisements there – a tacit acknowledgment that the campaign anticipates a contest. 1 Like |

ijedeikorodu:The bottom line is that Trump can fill all his cabinet with Blacks and I can guarantee you that at best he would get 4% of African Americans votes. You don't know how divisive Trump is. The only solace we have in America now is the coming election on Nov 3rd. This is exactly why there's election every four years in America. We will correct our mistakes and that's why we are embarking on massive voters registration nationwide knowing 100 million Americans didn't vote in 2016. 1 Like |

The closure of several polling units in some states due to voter suppression and the corona virus should result in the expansion of vote by mail. It’s highly regrettable that voters are spending up to 4/5 hours in Iine to vote. 2 Likes |

George Floyd and Derek Chauvin "bumped heads" while working at nightclub, former coworker says https://www.cbsnews.com/news/george-floyd-derek-chauvin-nightclub-bumped-heads/ As mourners in Houston honor the life of George Floyd in Minneapolis, CBS News is learning new details from a nightclub coworker about alleged history between Floyd and Derek Chauvin, the former officer who is charged in Floyd's death. According to a former coworker, not only did they know each other, but they had a history of friction. Floyd and Chauvin both worked security at a nightclub at the same time. Coworker David Pinney said the two men had a history. "They bumped heads," Pinney said. "How?" CBS News asked. "It has a lot to do with Derek being extremely aggressive within the club with some of the patrons, which was an issue," Pinney explained. The Floyd family says they believe what happened on May 25 was in part personal. Their lawyer has called for Chauvin to be charged with first-degree murder, "because we believe he knew who George Floyd was." "Is there any doubt in your mind that Derek Chauvin knew George Floyd?" CBS News asked Pinney. "No. He knew him," the coworker said. "How well did he know him?" CBS News asked. "I would say pretty well," Pinney replied. Maya Santamaria, the owner of the now protest-torched club, described how Chauvin treated black patrons when she talked to CBS News for the upcoming special "Justice for All." Santamaria said she had been paying Chauvin, when he was off-duty, to sit in his squad car outside El Nuevo Rodeo for 17 years. She said Floyd worked as a security guard inside the club frequently in the last year. In particular, they both worked on Tuesday nights, when the club had a popular weekly dance competition. "Do you think Derek had a problem with black people?" CBS News asked. "I think he was afraid and intimidated," Santamaria said. "By black folks?" CBS News clarified. "Yeah," Santamaria confirmed. As the investigation continues, other cities across the country are considering police reforms. On Tuesday, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said he would support sweeping reform measures in his state, including a ban on police chokeholds. "It's a moment to do real reform and real change," said Cuomo. City officials in Minneapolis are discussing defunding or dismantling the police department. What happened there has sparked demands for a new law enforcement model. But even those who support the idea aren't sure what that really means. 1 Like |
