BREAKING NEWS

ITS VERY SHAMEFUL THAT GOVERNORS IN SOUTH EAST PROSCRIBED IPOB WHILE THOSE IN THE NORTH ARE HAVING AGREEMENT WITH TERRORISTS.

SENATOR ENYINNAYA ABARIBE

According to the Senator representating Abia south while reacting to the issue of the executive GOVERNOR of KATSINA STATE claims that the bandits didn't keep to their agreement, Abaribe questions why the federal government was quick to proscribe IPOB and the governors in South east join in that evil action.

"I just read a news yesterday where KATSINA state GOVERNOR was saying that the bandits in his state failed to keep to their agreement. I am very shocked to this. Why could the governors in South east proscribe an organization that only Carry flag while their counterpart in the north are having agreement with a body designated as a TERRORIST ORGANIZATION.

Why is the F.G silent over this yet they were quick to tag IPOB MEMBERS TERRORIST!

This shows that some parts of this country are allowed to do whatever they feel like while others are being hunted!

It's very unfortunate especially the role played by igbo Politicians he Stated

Dave Umahi and Co do not know whom they represent.
They do not understand what it meant to be mouth piece of a great race like the Igbos.
They are part of the reasons Igbos are yet to get to their destination politically in this nation.
They are the grandsons of the political contractors that replaced the intelligent Igbo leaders of the 60s who were either dead or withdrawn from national politics too early following defeat in the civil war.

Today we are saddled with leaders who are so unsure of which foot to put forward.
Their aim of seeking political position (personal aggrandisement ) is clashing with a superior call of duty (Leading the Igbo race fearlessly).
They fear for their looted funds and they also fear for their lack of intellectual capacity to articulate fearlessly the deep yearnings of their people.
They are wary of what they stand to lose(base on past experiences of others) if they push forward core Igbo agenda.

It is not their fault. Leadership is not for every Tom,Dick and Harry. Education and academic qualifications do not make a leader. A leader is the one who aligns with the cause of his followers.
It is a pity that the governors are world apart from their citizens on what they want from Nigeria. Somehow they believe that what the centre wants is more important than what the people that gave them power want.

This can be traced down to our structure as a nation. We gave them ballot power but the real power comes from Abuja. Allocations, security, and so many other things. Who controls the structure at the centre? Your guess is as good as mine.
Inadvertently, we are free but not free. We feel that we are in control but the control buttons are somewhere in Sokoto or Kaduna.
That is why Gov. Ugwuanyi even when he knew about the imminent attack of the herdsmen at his domain wasted all night calling Abuja instead of rallying his people to stop the carnage that will eventually occur.
Why? He is a chief executive officer that cannot give an effective command to his so called security, unless the approval came from Aso rock.

Dear senator Abaribe if you want an end to this madness, you and your colleagues should push for Referendum or leave it.
