But the Nigerian problem stems from tribal differences or what they'd call federal character.

I'll give an analogy.
Let's say Nairobi for example has all the facilities to host the Rugby World Cup... Stadiums and all...and Nairobi would do an excellent job hosting it... Let me add that Nairobi is the native land of Kikuyu's.

All of a sudden other states all over Kenya begin to cry foul claiming they've sidelined by the Kikuyu's... So all the Masai's and other tribes demand hosting venues in their states too.. But the whole country knows the others don't have the capacity to host stuff.

It then becomes political cos politicians don't want to lose Masai votes so they begin haphazard patch works to make it possible.

So they'd sacrifice hosting a perfect w/c in Nairobi cos only Kikuyu's would benefit and fück themselves over internationally to appease the Masais cos it screams of 'federal character' .

That's the situation.
