Now, my issue is, have they issued ID cards to the ones who have registered for it?

I've registered for the National ID card for not less than 3 good years without my ID card.
This is an era where banks give ATM cards instantly. What stop NIMC from emulating them.

Someone should tell NIMC that we need our National ID card!

They can make voters card available in two weeks during election period, but they can't make nimc card available.. Very incompetent people!!

We have a long way to go. To get the temporary id card is not easy. I used close to 4 months before I could get mine.

It just shows how terribly this country is run.

Me I'm indifferent oh, as someone said above who Nigerian identity epp I'm a proud happy Nigerian oh don't mind me. But as I stepped out of the NIMC office the day I did mine (maybe 100 years ago) after paying for fuel and refusing to pay for lamination, I removed my mind. Whenever the are ready they should give me. The only ID I am managing is voters card. My passport has expired and Buhari's new cost is unnecessary and ridiculously high. My drivers license has spelling error caused by the FRSC woman and I've to wait till it expires they say before I can rectify it. Many places don't accept work and school ID so wetin, na NEPA bill or garbage bill or TIN card I go dey carry about?
I beg finish cleaning, make I dey begin go before traffic go build...

I don't even know the status of mine, I have NIN number but no ID card.
Funny thing is I got the NIN from my GTB USSD platform

I checked my balance using the *737# USSD code and my NIN number + BVN was there.

I registered over 5 years ago and never got mine. But was surprised to find out I have a NIN from my bank and my pension fund administrator. Shocking

I was called to pick mine after 7 years of registration. The process is just too slow

I did my NIN registration many years ago when they announced that they will stop the process and nobody will be allowed to register ever again....


That should be 13/21/2013 and it's over 6yrs now...No text to collect it and I don't even know if it has expired...
