thebargainhunte: the Dow has had a healthy rally for some weeks now. It's only fair for a pullback to take place. We are waiting for our own rally. |

X21: Lol....when price should be rising as the last trading day (15/06) before qualification approaches. Perhaps market is disappointed with the 20k dividend proposed. General state of the market. Some have said expect "bull", some have said expect "bear". I will share my own opinion during this public holiday weekend. |

thebargainhunte: Expected. Jay Powell needed to pour cold water on the 'heating' stock market. It is good so that people will not be too expectant. Normally US, EU and Japanese markets don't need to rise so fast. The market was moving faster than the restart/recovery phase of the real economy. This was an anomaly. However, March Lows will not been seen. But market will find its equilibrium at slight lower from these highs formed in Dow, NASDAQ and S & P. I believe at intervals, media & Fed will be used to prevent overheating of the markets. 4 Likes |

nna777: Fed has reached point of no return. So they will be doing all it can to control the market. With Fed pledging zero rates and no rate hike for a long time, gamblers go enter market. All the printed funds cannot remain in developed markets. It must find its way out to bid assets globally. It happened after 2009 intervention by Ben Bernanke. But in the long run, after all assets have been bidded globally, dem go tire. And the bubble go burst. 3 Likes 1 Share |

It was another day of upside as NEIMETH pushed up by a maximum gain today to close @ N2.57. That price is an approx 575% return from the time we gave a BUY recommendation here at 38k !! As usual, the dude also closed in its "usual tradition" of full bid !! Disclosure: following through with a 40-40-20 exit strategy, I sold down on the 2nd 40% of my holding @ N2.13 on Tuesday, after the 1st on Friday last week. ...will look to exit the balance of 20% at the appropriate time. #SOSHALLITBEwithUACNandWAPCO #ASTHEDAYSOFRECKONINGBECKONS It is well. 6 Likes |

MARKET UPDATE FOR WEEK ENDED 11 JUNE AND PLAN FOR NEXT WEEK STARTING 15 JUNE 2020 The bulls won for this week by a slight margin for the week courtesy of the spike in Crude price last weekend, due to the agreement by OPEC/Other oil producer to continue with the production cut. Currently the Allshare index is in a supply zone with sellers waiting to sell. Therefore, there is high probability that the market pull back will continue next week, we should not let down our guards, only quality equities should be on our radar: Gain for the week: +0.67% Loss for the Month: -0.33% Gain for the Qtr: +18.23% Loss for the year: -6.18% Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source. Also, Institutions can afford to suffer big losses without going burst compared with an individual, you cannot follow them blindly (you need to at least have some knowledge/your own plan). onegentleguy: NOTE: All those who contacted me(either via mail, private chat or otherwise) over this stock should pls do well to be guided accordingly. ...I want to believe that some might be members here. Its important to stick to ur laid out STRATEGY in line with ur personality(risk awareness and tolerance level), investment horizon and set out goal !! As u may already know, I have personally sold down on a big chunk of my holding in NEIMETH, because am following through with the part in bold. ...u should also follow urs. NEIMETH could witness a further rise in price, or it might fall from here. ...everything is possible !! I recommended the stock(then @ 38k) for reasons bordering around its fundamental stance, given the possibility of a huge feasible reward discounting surrounding risk. ...and also re-echoed it at the eve of the current pandemic. It has already risen quite high, delivering over 575% margin/return !! From here, it's also possible that something else might be aiding the fast rise in price. ...everything from a possible new investor(s), a takeover/buyout, fund raising(rights issue) or anything else. ...Maybe !! RabbiDoracle: Chai !! ...no be small thing bro !! NEIMETH has brought us some pandemic relief fund. Btw, hope u can see our brothers at the Fed reserve? With the plan to hold rates at near zero pegs over a run of 2 yrs(possibly 2022) to help dislocate covid-19 related shock on consumers and reduce strain on the macroeconomic end, there's likely gonna be an even more chase for yield. EMs will be flooded with cash !! Risk premium is already decelerating given the gradual resumption of economic activities. ...add that to the fact that asset prices presents a far better margin for REWARD from valuation(MoS peg in view) in most EMs unlike in the US and EU where most assets are overvalued and overbought, and ur guess is already as good as mine. So much money !! Frankly, this is so NOT a good time to hold cash. There can be no better time to be a portmanto... oh sorry, portfolio investor than now. Regards 9 Likes |
