Afe Babalola University is located in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

Founded by the renown legal luminary, Aare Afe Babalola (SAN).

Find below some exciting pics about the institution
Lovely and fantastic photos. Chief Afe Babalola's efforts on his university are awesomely laudable - especially with the fact he's a sole proprietor and not a church, organization or a group. A single individual did these, he tried excellently. I remember when he said in an interview years ago, that he spent N5bn to build structures with which he started the institution. That's a great feat for a single individual, really!

The school is nice. That's where many wealthy Igbo men in Nigeria are now sending their children to.

For those deriding the school, it is likely you haven't been there. I have and it is more conducive and standard than even Convenant University and certainly better than all the private and public universities in the South East put together.

you should resist the urge to comment every time, you have the right to hate, but when you hate with your reasoning locked, you are nothing but a sub human. I can put it to you , no university in your region comes close to those pics shown, I have been to almost every university in southern Nigeria, it is only on platforms like this people like you will condemn what is above your reach in all ramifications. The university of Ghana you are salivating on is just average at best compared to normal university standard, check out structures from South Africa, Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia and see for yourself. we know our structures are below par, but those structures from Ghana shouldn't be the benchmark. let me stop here, because I know your region and I know some universities structures there are worse than Boko Haram rehabilitation centres.

I agree with all of you guys totally.

We could build super star universities with superstar architecture in Nigeria .

The problem is, the fees we go charge no be small. I'm talking of fees between $10000-$60000 per annum.(N3.9million to N23million per annum).

The universites that we built in the 1960's were built with the giant share of our education budget then. Back then, less than 10% of kids went to school. In the 1970s', the government spent more money on building schools, universites, and polytechnics. Which in the long term meant that in the 1980's onwards, the money to maintain these schools and universites went up, but the education budget could not rise to the challenge.

I guess we should increase the fees so that you fellows can have the architectural wonders you want.To N4million per annum

Below...pic 1, Brigham and Women's hospital. a teaching hospital for HARVARD medical school...which had a research budget of $630million alone in 2013
Pic 2..LUTH, which had a budget of $15million for everything, including research a few years ago.

The whole Ghana is not bigger than Oyo State and that's the only one they have to show. A combination of 5 of such here is far better.

You should know that he's one of the children of hate from the yeast, always resist the urge to 'shalaye'. Since they know it's a Yoruba man that owns it, they will do anything to bring it down.

They are filled with bitterness everyday of their lives. Even if a white man had built it, they will still tell you the cement is not from heaven.

Pathetic children of perdition.

This is what I am trying to explain to you that ABUAD that was founded in 2011 should be more beautiful than Covenant that was founded in 2002. We are moving backward instead of moving forward.
Do you get my point now?

You are wasting your time, Nigerians refuse to understand the meaning of progress and merit.

60 years living under NEPA and Quota systems have lower the expectation of every Nigeria, they will rather accept anything no matter how low the standard. Right now it's better to just have a building to keep out the rain and call it a University. I was shocked at the architecture of UNN
