If he decamps and becomes their flagbearer for the election,
Having known the discrepancy in his educatuion, will it not be a walkover for apc, knowing what happened in bayelsa.

Aside that, it seems he knows the irregularities in his certificate and so he sees no reason to fight back.
Haven't the university cleared his certificate issue?

The issues of disqualification is not certificate, the ground for disqualification was ant-party as oshomole claims... Edo state is going back to PDP

I guess the APC does not fully understand the legal implications of disqualifying Obaseki today based on disputed certificate issue. So it automatically means his governorship in the past 4years have been an illegality.
If you check my comments; that's amongst the things I have been implying. People don't seem to understand the intricacies of this action by APC.
Obaseki might not return as governor, but APC is done

Thats just politics for you and real life matters... Men in power most times uses it to oppress their subjects for selfish gains and to prove they have authority.
Remember the first rule of power: Never oushines your master. Governor Obaseki didnt heed to it, what a shame the Politics has deteriorated, its now a service to the elites at the expense of the people.

He was disqualified because like they said 'discrepancies in his NYSC certificate'. But a man had too many 'discrepancies' in his WAEC certificate but he was cleared to contest for a position higher than the Governorship. I hate to say this but the kind of politics APC is playing is just too idiotic. This might be a blessing for the PDP though.

APC supporters, how do you sleep at night?

They don't know.
Meaning Ize Iyamu can still be governor without election, but since he's now in their camp, no one will pursue the case

The Edo state governorship elections would be one of the freest and fairest we have seen.

Elections are rigged by governors.

When a governor is vengeful towards his own rigging machine or has no dog in the fight, good things happen. cheesy

No need for election

Can you help with the statement from UI. Maybe I missed that.

But it's stated there that he was disqualified based on educational discrepancies despite the clarification from the UI. If he's truly sure and confident of his disqualification, with the whole dust he has raised earlier, is it not reasonable for him to appeal the disqualification and kuku scatter everything but instead he wants to lay low.

If he emerges as pdp flag bearer, nothing has changed.
He is going to win and lash back on apc with a vengeance.

I suspect that is why apc wanted to get him on fake certificate to make him an invalid.
