Valid point from you FFK. Obaseki has allowed feather weight politicians to push him into the journey of no return. With this cat that he has allowed to escape from the bag, i doubt if he can ever get any meaningful political appointment again in his life. There is no way anyone can twist it. Obaseki F....up! Oshiomole only insisted he carry the party members along. I could vividly remember a Governor(Godson) and an Ex-Governor(Godfather) on the other side of the Niger Bridge where there was a conflict of N7B campaign fund spent on the Godson's election. PDP leadership would be stupid to do something like that even after seeing the happenings in court these days about certificates and disqualification of elected governors. Again, Amobode is not lily-livered, he just knew when to give up and when to fight. The APC structure is against him and he couldn’t even win the primaries that was transparent enough.  But if Oshobaba eventually installs POI, Obaseki's disaffections would be seen as a child's play. POI is highly revered and a political Juggernaut who commands mouthwatering political clouts in Edo state. POI almost defeated Oshobaba, Obaseki, Fed government and the whole rigging apparatuses last term. The margin was very slim. Oshobaba would be making a grave mistake by anointing POI. POI is never a light or paper weight politician whom Oshobaba would want him to be dancing to his whims and caprices into subjugation. POI is heavy weight politician and a political enchilada in Edo state. i dont agree with that...the saying means that it would lead the way for more godfathers in politics...what about when the old godfathers are going against everything the party worked for and once agreed?? what about if the godfathers start making decision to suit his own personal gains like the case of akpabio and udom?? what i learn is that use your first term wisely and efficiently asif its ur last term and and most importantly be very close to those small inner political fractions that made you and they would fight and speak your works for u even when your so called godfathers start misbehaving.....just dont like politics abeg...so many selfish decision and sentiments clouding our reasoning 11 Likes 1 Share |
