Obaseki is the incumbent governor and there is power in incumbency. Obaseki is popular and pdp knows this that’s why Oshiomole has tried to kill him before primaries. That said it will be a win win for pdp because he will bring pdp to power in edo state and he will only serve one term.

Who are the 3 guys that have been screened in the PDP? What is their pedigree compared to an Obaseki who has been tested and at least proven ok by the Nigerian standard for politicians.

Do you realize of all the politicians currently available for the Edo seat. Obaseki is the only technocrati amongst them, the others are rogues and Chop-I-Chop politicians with nothing good to offer Edo people.

Please let Edo people decide fully for themselves. It is not a matter of being a slave (slave to who really?) to another. Obaseki has structures and the apparatus of the State unlike the others and he still wields the power of incumbency at least till November. In Nigerian politics that counts hugely as a gain for any political platform.
