Sometimes I don't quite understand what we want as Nigerians. grin. We all agree players should be invited on merit. But now, somebody plays well, he's too old, or there's too much competition. If he is playing better than all those donning the GWG out wide, then play him. He's been involved in 19 of his team's goals in 25 matches, better than any Nigerian playing wide currently(statwise). I don't understand how that doesn't warrant a look in. Invite him. Play him, if he doesn't measure up, don't invite him again. What is required of a good coach is to get the right mix of quality players regardless of age, we are not going to the next tournament to compete for the youngest team. We wanna win, so put together a winning team. We don't want any excuse; ooo, you know the team is quite young. They are improving. They will get there, inexperience blablabla. grin.

I wonder why a true super eagles fan will clamor for the inclusion of 31yr old player plying his trade in turkey where we have so many uncapped youngstars in better leagues and clubs. Nwakaeme was given chance against algeria which he seemed overwhelmed by the occasion qnd flopped badly.

We should be looking forward of having the likes of osai, ejuke and lookman in the team instead going bck to a player who is above 30 and not even doing it in a better league

You should realize the competition that is in that LW position, players that play in better league and have done well with SE, Nwaekeme is no CR7 and he hasn't done better than Kalu in that position, he contributed to three goals in his first 4 games, his influence in that 4-0 win against Libya cannot be overemphasized and it was his second game
recalling nwakaeme to the team is a no no for me

So because a player played his first game for the eagles and didnt do well then he should never be called again?

How many super eagles players did well on their debut ?

Its better not to say anything than saying what you have no idea about

Look at you judging a player with just 1 bad game, person go think say the guy play 5 games and no play well

Las las many people here na beer parlour

Ejuke has never gotten a chance. What about that?. Let me learn from your abundant ideas

The lad bossing Serbia is a much improved version from the one we saw at Rio 2016, and in the Eredivisie. He is not far from the Super Eagles and good to know he is on Rohr's radar. wink

nigerian yan koller. Dude hv improved a whole lot but needs a move to a better to league to attract rohr n his crew. A move to the belgian or french league wont be bad

Kalu is cr7 nah, someone that had a poor season

Because he contributed 3 goals in his first 4 games then he can do no wrong nah, there is no player that had better start to his eagles career than iheanacho

True. But, Lesotho and Benin? After thinking about that again, you may have a point. In a gathering of blind men, the one-eyed man is the king. grin. I definitely get that.

which ability are you talking about? Is he better than uncapped young ejuke and lookman?

If we lacked quality on the flanks i would hv supported the move to bring him back but in a situation where we have chukwueze, simon, kalu, dennis and uncapped trio of osai, lookman n ejuke who re much younger and hv the possibility of growing with the team there is no need to recall nwakaeme.

He should concentrate in his club abeg

lookman finding game time difficult at leipzig doesnt rub off his qualities and upon he is still attracting interest from the epl. Also he has an advantange over nwakaeme because he is just 23.

After the Argentina friendly, Iheanacho played 9 straight games with contributing to any goal coupled with the fact that he was not getting game time then for his team

Kalu is getting game time in France even though he's not scoring and you cannot say rohr calling him up is not justified

kalu is an integral part of the team and that can only change if the likes of osai and ejuke re given a chance and they out perform kalu.

Moreover kalu is likely to leave france this summer with a move to galatasaray on the cards

But he is not struggling with SE, double standard or not that's the point

Musa that was struggling but still turns up in SE matches is also justified because he performs for us ignoring that he is captain
