I was craving zobo drink made with pineapple. I just made it this morning and had two large cups with ice ...I just finished enjoying my drink when I decided to check google if it’s safe...I was surprised some sites said it’s dangerous in pregnancy...please is it safe to consume zobo in pregnancy?

This is an emergency too in my opinion..pls insist you need to see a doctor to avoid infection of the site.hope you have been cleaning with spirit and avoid water from touching the site.please go and see a doc asap.

You need to see a doctor to check the CS site. You may check the health centre closest to you, if a doctor is not around, a qualified and experienced nurse should help you check. You can also try and register in a good private hospital close to you for situations like this when you cannot access a government hospital.

Continue cleaning with MOKO spirit and cotton wool at least three times in a day and avoid water getting to the site.

It may be that the site has not healed properly and you are stressing yourself by carrying things heavier than your baby or engaging in other strenous activities. Please don't carry anything heavier than your baby for now.

I used to get my CS site dressed every 3 days for like 3 weeks before exposure and clean it with MOKO spirit at least 3 times a day for as long as I feel it has fully healed. Healing depends on body type, some people heal faster than others.

I wish you full recovery soonest, take good care of yourself and your lo.

Sis, it's better safe than sorry (lemme use that expression). There are still plenty of zobo to drink after you put to bed, so leave it for now. Though, it may not do any harm to you or your baby o.

Hey mama! Hope you are good? Are you referring to Uda? If so, I will advise you steer clear of it for now.
Though bodies may differ, it is safer you make the peppersoup without adding it. Use crayfish and other things to prepare it to avoid stories that touch. When u born, you go drink am tire!

No, ehuru is not uda. Uda is not safe but ehuru is. I use only ehuru and uziza seed to make my peppersoup.

I am still in my first trimester (about 8 weeks) and I have this persistent bitter taste in my mouth...regardless of what I eat, it never goes. I was admitted in the hospital and treated for malaria about 3 weeks ago, so I know its not malaria. Please is this normal and are there any known home remedies I can use? It is really making me uncomfortable, making eating a chore and disrupting my sense of taste.

Na so the thing dey be my sister.

Pregnancy is not comfortable ma.
Especially in the first trimester.
You just have to manage it like that.
You should be thankful you are not carrying nylon bags around with a jar for spitting at intervals.

But not to worry. Somewhere around 14weeks you should be fine. And guess what before you know it 14 weeks is here already.

But that bitter taste may not go completely. It would now be an on and off something.
Even at 36 weeks plus I still get that bitter taste sometimes.

In all we pray it ends in praise, easy delivery to all of us.
