No region in this country had (and still have) made numerous attempts to pull out of the country like the Igbos

Any security move that doesn't align with that of the center will be perceived as arming the region in another effort to secede.

The Yorubas will get away with it because they are pro-Nigeria.

Another region that will raise the president's eyebrows is the South South because they are also known for agitation

So, the state security operatives will never allow the South South set up a security network without giving them a template.
