It's only in this country that essential workers will threaten to go on strike over deplorable working conditions and the government will ignore them. 59 Likes |

Who can blame doctors for leaving Nigeria. Why remain here and earn peanuts (only when corrupt officials feel like paying) under terrible work conditions when you can leave and earn many times your salary? And in a system where you will be appreciated? 20 Likes |

Nigeria is a country where cows are more valued than human lives. Look at Nenelyn's narrative of how the father died out of carelessness of doctors. I suffered same thing when I had an accident and was taken to LUTH. The female doctor on duty didn't even notice that a human being was in pain. Now look at doctors embarking on industrial action in the midst of the overwhelming health challenges facing the nation. Abroad just dey hungry me like mad. This our nation don dey scare me oo 9 Likes 1 Share |

The health care system is in chaos, many of the essential things are lacking, The CMDs are not any better, even common reagents as cheap as 250naira often at times are lacking, so PPE being unavailable is no surprise because an average Nigerian is greedy, till the day we decide to be accountable in this country is the day things will begin to take shape 15 Likes 1 Share |

May God help us, apart from provision of PPE for covid 19 all other issues are monetary, when you think we have heatless leaders, then the so-called populace are worst, Come to think of it ASUU are on strike and now NMA are.going amid a pandemic. When other country like new Zealand are coming out of the pandemic Nigerians doctors and suppose researchers are on holiday 1 Like 1 Share |

There must be something irredeemable about Nigeria, which generation after generation, the LCM is that nothing works. All sectors are in a mess, only politicians, their sycophants, and their relatives cash out. Well, we are used to all sorts of strikes here but my people, someday if u want a change, make urself a global citizen with abilities, skills and competencies beyond ur local sphere to function beyond ur nationality, so that you can escape permanently this hell embassy called Nigeria. 3 Likes |
