dream on

we've gone over this before and we have always been above you in consumption.
rvp2018:
Which FM station did you hear that from?

We were doing very well until 2016 - when we had interest rate capping & real estate has cooled off - by now we should be well into 10-12m if previous projections had panned out.

The report explains that in 2016, about 6.7 million tonnes of cement was consumed, however, the volume dropped by 8.2% in 2017
https://www.globalcement.com/news/itemlist/tag/Kenya%20National%20Bureau%20of%20Statistics

From 2016 high of 6.7 - we have been dropping!

Otherwise, we have always been doing nearly twice Ghana. You have nearly caught up recently.

Tell us Ghana cement production and consumption from 2000 to 2020. I can provide Kenya's. Credible Data. If you cannot even produce data - you're just a mini Nigeria that cannot afford a census.

And yet Nairobi get ranked amongst cities like Berlin smiley

Watch Nairobi - and show me the slums (they occupy mere 2% of built-up area and are hidden in valleys)

The Green City in the Sun - that is the dream of every Ghanian as well documented in their vision 2050 to go Beyond AID and IMF.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3NIgWNh1Vs&t=33s

Nairobi ranked most eco-friendly city in Africa. International travel-booking company Tourlane has compiled a top-50 list of the world's most environmentally-friendly gateway cities, placing Nairobi top in Africa. The Kenyan capital was also ranked 14th globally, ahead of Cape Town and Morroco's Marakech

we have gone over this before.

between 2000 and 2010, Ghana cement consumption remain constant at 5 to 5.7million metric tonnes.
production were sometimes below consumption and import were carried out.

Since then to now

Production stands at 12 million metric tonnes and consumption at 10 million metric tonnes
Ghana per capita consumption is now 333.33kg as at 2019

All you need to know in one place

You have zero credibility - so kindly provide credible links.

All I can see from the link is -The country has a production capacity of 12Mt/yr but it only uses 8Mt/yr, according to Citi Business

And yes we did this already - I gave you SOLID figures of Ghana cement production.

In 2000 - you were not even at 1.5M

so global Cement is no more credible just because it places Ghana consumption as double of Kenya's

You can make all the noise you want and you wont get to our level. grin grin

To increase Production and consumption to our level, You have to have a real boom in the real estate sector.

Even Tanzania sure Tanzania has a bigger consumption than Kenya.

when you are going to circle in the morning
the road from circle is empty, the only part of the road with traffic is the one heading to circle.

In the evening, the road leaving circle has a lot of traffic, just after you cross circle but the other side does not.
that is inaccurate sir..
I think you're exaggerating things a bit

Now grasscutter eater - we only need CREDIBLE data from Ghana for 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Kenya as always has such data tracked.

So far you are seeing a lot of cement dust from Kenya

Hydraulic Cement is a product used to stop water and leaks in concrete and masonry structures. It is a type of cement, similar to mortar, that sets extremely fast and hardens after it has been mixed with water.

Mortar is used to hold building materials such as brick or stone together. It is composed of a thick mixture of water, sand, and cement.

Beyond your paygrade. Portland cement-like is common in Africa another name is hydraulic cement. Non-hydraulic cement is lime - and it's usage is very limited. It was used in centuries that passed - in very old buildings.

So hydraulic cement is the cement you know.

Oooh, we have bigger cement consumption, oooh, we have longest tarred roads than you, oooh, we are more developed than you. Now see the trend.
We have tripled their cement consumption since 1997. That is Grossly 6years down the line.
I bet 2013-2019 stats will do the same.
They always engage in aimless ranting with nothing to back up their claims. No wander things are different on ground grin.
