How much non-hydraulic cement do Ghana produce grin It's funny when an idiot who doesn't know what he is talking about attempt to lecture me.

Hydraulic cement= portland cement and is 100% what you produce.

I gues you didn't understand what i implied

will you shut up dumb dumb and take the free education.

Hydraulic cement is a different kind of cement.

You cant even use it for concrete works.

It is a cement that you only add water to and apply unto concrete surfaces to avoid water leakage.

Thank you

You are still insisting that hydraulic cement is not another name for portland cement smiley. The only reason they are not calling portland is because in the developed world - they are rarely sold in 50kg bags like Ghana or Kenya - but most as pre-mix - the cement companies sell either concrete or mortar - they do the mixing at factory.

Back to GHANA cement consumption.

As of 2016 - US estimates you were doing 4M metric tonnes. In 2019 my own calculation came to around 5.1M tonnes.

Kenya has solid data lasting from 1963 to the highest precision.

soon we will have 2017, 2018 and 2019 data....

Otherwise cement consumption would show up in Accra or Kumasi or TEMA...there is nothing there.

there is the normal cement which are there Portlands and pozzolana

and there is Hydraulic cement itself which is used to reinforce those cements above when you build anything in areas with constant flow of water.

oh so they are all even living in rented houses

grin grin grin grin

when only 22% of Ghanaians live in rented housing(37% of Accra resident) while 57.4% of Ghanaians own their own homes(40.4% in Accra)
while another 20.5% live rent-free (19.5% for Ghana). The remaining 1.6% of housing is employer-provided (4.5% for Ghana).

Their lies will always be exposed.

Nothing to see here... Just a regular Kenyan senator flying in chopper style to commission a classroom. wink

Kenyan Senator, Kithure Kindiki was elected into the country's parliament first in 2013 and served as the majority leader of the Senate. Shortly after winning his reelection bid in 2007, he was made the deputy senate speaker, a position he held until he was impeached in May of 2020.

The extravagant politician who even moves around in an helicopter literally abused his people and particularly the populace by helping to build a single class room block made of mud. Because he flew in a helicopter just only to help with a construction a mud classroom for a mud school in 2018.

But Thika road was not completed in 2016 smiley. It was completed in 2012. Cement consumption went down when Kenya introduced interest rate capping for loans. That leads to banks refusing to lend to real estate sector...because it too risky to lend to them at 13%.

Obviously, this is greek for you - in Nigeria - you're borrowing bank loans at 30%.

Is it because Nairobi outsmart Lagos in that?.
Am a big fun of skyscrapers anyway grin

See what. It's now a about 8 months - and with COVID - it will take some time before our banking sector recover enough to lend - so this year is no good for real estate.

The Finance Bill, 2019 was signed into law on 7th November 2019, repealing section 33B of the Banking Act which provided for the capping of interest rates at 4.0% above the Central Bank Rate, pursuant to the failure of the National Assembly to raise a two-thirds majority to overturn President Uhuru Kenyatta's

so basically it hasn't been repealed because your national Assembly could not raise a 2/3rd majority to overturn it.
