No. No Redmi phones after Redmi Note 7 has the recording function. That's the reason I'm considering buying redmi note 7 Pro instead of this note 9s

Note 9s uses the same camera sensor as the one on the Note 8 so i doubt if the camera will be better than that of Note 8 pro.

Redmi Note 9S uses a Samsung GM2 sensor.
Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 9 uses the older Samsung GM1 48MP sensor.

RN9 Pro and RN8 Pro uses the same Samsung GW1 64MP sensor.

With the improvements done on the GM2 with the right optimization and Algorithm the sensor is good.
