TheSkyIsRed: If you negotiate to work with the SA remotely or as a consultant, then you know how to schedule your time.Network administration can be done remotely. If you play your cards right, you keep your old job and receive income from 2 sources. How is that for you? |

I guess you are married, it is only married people that will think the way you are thinking.. Am sorry to say this ; why are you so comfortable with 40k salary ? This is an opportunity to upgrade your cv. if you loose the govt work you can search for another job with your experience.. For me 40k salary job is too small to be attached to. |

Without an official appointment letter, your salary is not sure but it might be a wake up call for you to startup something on the side. You can also work part time for your Microfinance bank as a side hustle while at the government house. If not I would advise you stay put at your Microfinance bank except you're 100% the SA will not throw you under the bus. TheSkyIsRed: |

My brother, your present job and the new one has no job security. My advice is if u must take the SA job, u must prove your worth while working with him. Even after the present Governor steps down, an SA can still get another appointment and will still look for you. You will have more time to do your own business while on the new job and you must get ready to broaden your connections . I will support you leaving your old job because u can still be fired in the MFB within this 2-3 years. Take the risk and pray for God's direction Goodluck |
