What are they about and how do you rate them?

the blood song trilogy is a medieval fantasy book about the sixth oder, the order are like the black watch in game of thrones except they are assassins trained for the king and all, the story evolves around vaelin al sorna who has a dark power I.e the blood song nigga is ruthless and fights like logen ninefingers from the first law trilogy, the story is dope as there are people with dark powers, a god known as the ally, bloody battles, betrayals, love and all,



the Parker novels Don Tay tho, like twenty four books in total and is about a criminal named Parker who was betrayed and left for dead by his wife and one other person, he went to jail and escaped seeking vengeance on them bla bla bla, the books are dope and easy to read

Was going through my e book library and bumped on another of my favourite books.I had to read it again. Musashi by Yoshikawa Eiji. I will recommend it to anybody interested in japanese history. Its actually about the life of a true samurai warrior.You will enjoy all 900+ pages of the book.

I v watched the adaptation movie long ago sha..but I finally got my hands on the main thing online just yesterday nd it's been burning down my ba3 to zero ever since...gone more than100 pages already and I must say that chiamanda's a genius indeed..she's simply better than Achebe nd Soyinka put together... ama buy that book 4 my sweetheart very soon nd instruct her to digest d whole thing...lol...d book's js about..sincere love...wild lust...loyalty...kindness... togetherness nd perseverence in d face of untold hardships

The Memory of Love by Aminatta Forna

Set in post-war Sierra Leone describes a country dealing with the psychological effects of war. The three main male characters are interesting and their experience with love captivating. It is also a book about friendship and how our past influences our today. I will rate it when I finish reading it. I have been enjoying it so far.

Update:

I have finished The Memory of Love by Aminatta Forna.
It is an interesting story and I loved the complexity of her characters and their experience with love, friendship and betrayal in post-war Sierra Leone. It also gives interesting insights into the psychology and therapy of the post-traumatic-syndrome. I didn't like the end that much but it is still a good book I would recommend because of the beautifully crafted prose and richness in philosophical thoughts. Most of all because the author has a way to bringing you very close to her characters.

A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry

Set in 1970s India is a story about four people whose lives become intertwined in ways they could not have foreseen. I will give an update as I read on.
