This life no balance walahi.... meanwhile people go dey talk how e no easy upandan. How corona spoil things. But see as Nigerians dey tear 90k+ phones like say na pure water. Omo, na this Xiaomi matter make me believe the song wey Naira Marley sing "owo wa l'eko, awon kan wa Ok" #Mafo (translate: money dey Lagos, some people are Ok).

I slept off on a motorcycle. I had 75k saved up for RN9s. Now I need to save up more. Maybe I'll pick it up by month end insha Allah. Gaskiya I actually thought I'd be among the first people wey go disvirgin RN9s here, ..Allah.

Abeg make e no finish o cuz i fit just vex buy RN9pro.

Thanks. One last thing, where you able to get a screen guard for the phone right there? I recently got the redmi note 9S from a reliable seller here on nairaland for a friend yesterday but I can't find a place to get the screen guard for the phone.

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by ElvisMcCoy(m): 5:55am On Jun 17, 2020
How many of your phones did you buy just to bend them sir? The ones that survived the bend test how many of them were you able to buy, use and bend to you satisfaction?
There are lots of things we should take with the proverbial pinch of salt, durability tests are one of them. The RN7 didn't survive bend tests last year from Jerryrig yet nothing stopped it from being a best seller of it's time. How many people did you see complain that their RN7 devices bent suddenly?

No dey let this kind thing spoil your mind abeg. What is the number of complaints you see online about bent devices?
I've been using phones for over 15 years now and I have never experienced a bent device...

Buy and enjoy your device biko.

These bend tests are very aggressive. It will be rare for a phone to bend in one's pockets to the extent that the bend tests show, except of course you put the phone inside your back pockets and regularly sit on the phone. The tests just help you understand the materials used to manufacture a device; how premium those materials are
