Hi,

I have done that & would like to reiterate that all certificates are issued at HQ in Abuja. Feedback from academics mail.

Regards.
Fkj202004:

Please contact your centre if your certificate is there. I got informed some certificates have been sent. I also confirmed that you can't go to the Headquarters to collect certificates for now. All certificates will be at the centre immediately after lockdown. For now, they sent some. So please try to confirm if yours is there.

Thank you

Hi,

Kindly disregard my pm. You said something on the surface without clarification. If you REALLY wish to assist myself or other students, please state here what you mean by 'hustle hard to achieve'. You were last seen online some minutes to 8pm last night, yet no feedback to the last person that quoted you! I understand its a choice to assist anyways... All the best!
Ribasandez:

Mine is sorted though. Transcript issue resolved.

What I discovered is that we don't always want to work as a group (the alumni or students) to resolve things (I was pained because of this). That is one of the reasons I gave up on concerted effort and focused on personal hustle. I happen to be the generous type.

But if you know how to hustle hard enough to achieve it, it will happen. That's all I can say.
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Pegzzyg(f): 7:06am On Jun 16, 2020
I will, hopefully in 1 Month's time, mine is a Local request & not International. What can stall me now is my Certificate I am yet to collect which is also needed before transcript can be processed! Certificate collection would resume once schools resume in general (feedback from Noun)
lexdino:

Please, in 2 - 3 months time, remember to update us about how your NOUN transcript application went grin

NOUN transcript application don cause depression for many NOUN students & Alumni oo. Imagine paying 25k for your transcript to be sent to a school you're applying abroad and after over 3 months of waiting, your school application deadline elapses and NOUN are still yet to send, worse is they won't even reply your email to give you any explanation and when you're lucky enough for them to pick your call, they wont even ask for your Mat No or any details before telling you that they are working on it, then call ended.

I wish you the best though. But if I were you, I would rather go directly to the Registrar's office in Abuja with all the required documents.

Okay. The thing is this. There's still a lockdown. The school is not fully open. You can apply through the proper channel, but they still won't do anything because of Covid-19. Until the lockdown is lifted, I'm not sure they will do anything.

However, once the lockdown ban is rescinded, there's a good chance they will process your application, just not so quickly. They will delay sha.

I'm sure they will say they've got a lot of applications to process. If you know someone who can help you persuade them, that may also help.

(Apologies for not replying your mail. It's a not-so-pleasant period for me at the moment.)
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Pegzzyg(f): 8:21pm On Jun 16, 2020
I already said to disregard my mail, really do not require your feedback.

You still didn't state what you meant by 'hustle hard' you became evasive immediately that 'information' was required of you & became mute. I already have my facts, kindly disregard given out informations you're not certain off & not confirmed from the school too, please, not cool, had to go through your posts here to see where you talked about transcript, not even sure you requested for a transcript in recent times, but I won't derail this thread, peace out! Kindly do not quote me again.

Please anyone here in Minna Study centre?

I'm moving to Bida, Niger State from Lagos and the only study centre in Niger State is in Minna.

I intend to continue schooling over there.

Please how feasible is this?

And if possible, how do I go about changing my study to Minna Niger State?

Please, Thank you

Stop patronising him.

I'm very sure you want to get on his list of #hugefan so that he'd attend to you promptly when you need it. That's not bad but you don't have to insult someone to drive home your fact/aim! Even @Ribasandez never insulted him.

None is obligated to respond to a request. The if and when is a matter of choice and convenience.

Quite a demonstration of HIGH reasoning.

If you are going to take the coming exams, I suggest you stay back and finish the exams. Changing your Centre right now will be very difficult except if you are an Officer or Health Personnel dispatched to the new location due to the present pandemic and other special cases. If you don't stay back, it could make your writing the exams almost impossible. My advice is that, if your reason for changing Centre is not VERY strong, you could hit a hard rock which may lead to not being able to take the exams.
BUT... If you are not taking the forthcoming exams, you can go to your Study Centre and apply for a change of Study Centre. It may take sometime but it will be effected and you will see it when you login to the school portal.

I'm not taking this semester exams but I intend to continue from next semester.

How long do you think it would take for the change to be effected?

Are you schooling in Minna?

I suggest you prepare to apply for the transfer next semester because if you apply right now, it may not have that attention since everything around transfer now is considered with relevance to the coming exams. In normal condition, it takes about 2-3 weeks. Your target is to get your Centre changed before exams 2020/2 exams which won't be an arduous task if you begin the process as at the commencement of 2020/2 semester. Cheers.

UPDATE!!!
Goodmorning great people wink
As we all know virtual exam started yesterday for POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS which was (DAY1) and it has been mixed reaction, I will still bring you more update on that by the time I speak with more people about their experience.

There are many great, positive testimonies and negative ones from those who took the Virtual Exam yesterday The NOUN management deserves some accolades for implementing this Virtual Examination although this is just DAY1

+VE
Someone connected and did the exam and completed successfully without any delays...he even said He scored 58+/70... not yet verified.

-VE
Someone did the exam at his house.. But was unable to complete the setup.. Not knowing he has already activated the proctor.. Before he could click they block his portal.. And they sent a mail to him telling him that he did exam Mal practice... Because he was with someone that was helping him fix the system.. And he was with a smart phone with him which he used to make calls.. They block him immediately.. He sent a mail to them.. Telling them he was fixing the system and not yet ready. They pardon him but will not attempt that particular course.. Which is carryover automatically.. So he had to make calls and he later wrote the 11am paper. ..

NOTE!!! once you click share your screen with proctor.. You've automatically connect with them.. You're being monitored.
If you are interested hurry up and register.

It seems this virtual exam is more convenient. I like the concept. People should be at least an hour ready (system set up, etc.) before sitting for the exam.

If you want to acquire past questions, you can contact me on my whatsapp 07010458324

Or send a mail to tkroy02@gmail.com

Please lets maximize this opportunity.

One of the problems with helping people sometimes. You give them half loaf of bread, and they will hate you for not giving them the full loaf.

You really need to work on your attitude.
