For many people outside Rivers State, this might mean nothing. To many hatersof Rivers State and Port Harcourt this is useless. To us the great people of Rivers State, we are happy we have places to have fun. And the good the is that it is right opposite one of the most technologically equipped Hub in Rivers State 10 Likes |

sexylassie2: A park can be a legacy. Apart from providing quality entertainment for Port Harcourt residents, it ensures that that green area designated as part is never built upon thereby preserving the greenery. 4 Likes |

Fuckyoumod: I don't know why most of you always see fit to compare Akwa Ibom and Rivers. Let Akwa Ibom do their thing and leave Rivers alone. Akwa Ibom is not on Rivers state level. There are hundreds of thousands of Akwa Ibomites residing in Rivers but I'm sure Riverians arent up to one thousand in Akwa Ibom. The states are not mates. Rivers is on another level to Akwa Ibom. 8 Likes |

Udom is still leaving in the 20th century. The building of factories is not government responsibility but provision of conducive environment that will bring in investors.Wike has made port harcourt attractive for investors, the park you are seeing is a private partnership project .This is why you pay to use it.The investors have to make money to pay workers and invest in other areas.Kudos to Wike Fuckyoumod: 4 Likes |

Fuckyoumod: oga relax...your write up is like comparing lagos to Ogun. This is just one of his many achievements in rivers state. B4 now as OP stated, rivers state had a number of leisure parks, op even forgot to mention isaac boro park. Do u know how many factories and companies are in rivers state?? Rivers state has an international airport and an airforce base which has a standed runway which can also serve as an alternative for your "akwaibom airplanes" to land. If rivers state decide to own an airline, it would do so without blinking. The pleasure park didn't it create job opportunities too?? Una dey quick to throw shades for here without thinking. Udom is doing well in his own capacity, likewise wike. 9 Likes |

For those of you criticizing this project well I would have you know that a park is absolutely necessary for the functionality of any urban space. Open spaces like this are encouraged for recreation. And besides this park is world class. Wine is working just as the rest of the PDP governors in the south south. That's why south south would be PDP for a long time to come. No cap 4 Likes |

Tapout: Don't mind Akwa Ibom people. Typical late comers. Whatever they are trying to achieve now, Rivers has crossed many years ago. Just like someone who graduated from University, he wants to compare himself with someone who graduated in I990. Rivers is not in Akwa Ibom level. At all. Dem no be mate. Pls they should tone down comparisons before they embarrass themselves unnecessarily. 3 Likes 1 Share |

TonyOputa:what nonsense LEGACY? An amusement Park that the average Nigerian can hardly afford? The last time I visited with my friends, we paid too much money. E remain small them collect money for toilet. Small bottle water of #50 was sold at #150. We paid for parking space. We paid for everything we touched. Cinema was too expensive. They put almost every movie in their VIP section at 3k per ticket. Same movies that had their tickets sold at #600 for day time and #800 for evening show at Film House Cinemas. Pleasure Park is the definition of EXTORTION. Tell me why I'd have to visit such place again? 6 Likes |

Poloyanabo2: Yes, not only did wike start alot of projects on his own, he also completed a lot abandoned by the previous administration. The man has really tried for rivers state.he might sometimes go over the top, but he has really done well for the state. I say what I see. There's a reason he was nicknamed Mr projects. How can u say I'm celebrating mediocrity when u praised him in your initial post, then edited it just to quote me for likes..smh you should bury your head deep in shame. If you can't stand by your words on a mere online forum, how much more in real life. Make sure u convert the likes you got on that post to money and go pay for lectures on integrity. 2 Likes

Its sad that Gov wike has not created jobs yet for rivers state indigenes. So many graduate are still looking for jobs unlike when minister amaechi was the gov, he created mass job opportunities for teachers, renovated schools (U.B E), people were going round disinfecting gutters and stagnant waters against mosquitoes, scholarships and the list is endless 3 Likes |
