Rangers flop Umar Sadiq flattered by Manchester United interest – but says it’s not accidental
Steve Goodman
17 Jun 2020, 12:15

RANGERS flop Umar Sadiq has revealed his joy at being scouted by Manchester United - and insisted he merits the Red Devils' interest.

The Nigerian striker played at Ibrox during a loan spell in 2018, and was sent back to Roma after just four goalless appearances.

Sadiq has since revived his career with Partizan Belgrade, scoring 17 goals in 38 games this season.
And a United scout watched him last week, when he set up Partizan's goal in a 1-0 Serbian Cup win over Red Star.
Sadiq, 23, played in Partizan's two Europa League ties against United last autumn.
He told Belgrade daily Republika: "Manchester United's interest is a big compliment for me as a player.
"But, believe me, nothing is accidental.
"Partizan have helped me a lot in my career. I found my way, and now I just follow what they ask of me.
"I think this is just the beginning of my success, and the motivation is there.
"We work thoroughly before every game. We don't only talk about tactics and video analysis, but also human relationships.

"Whether it's the manager, Savo Milosevic, or someone else from the coaching staff, they are always there for us.

"As for United, I think they were surprised by how we played against them in Belgrade.

"They put out their best team, which tells you how much respect they had."

na wa o
why are they referring to him as rangers flop, dem no dey forget something

Musa Muhammed extends his allegiance until 2022!
06/16/2020.

I feel great and I am pleased with the contract extension with the Club. This is another step forward in the continuation of our excellent cooperation so far, said Musa after signing a new two-year contract.

The right defender joined the ranks of Gorica in the summer of 2018. So far, he has collected a total of 53 official appearances in the Gorica jersey, three of which in Croatian Football Cup matches. In the previous season, Musa scored one goal and recorded two assists.

Consider the playing style of these forwards and midfielders. Can they strike a good chemistry?

Let's play this game. Name your best SE XI (and preferred formation) and I will build a best XI based on the players that gets most mentions. For some reason, Osimhen's image cannot be added.

I unreservedly agree. That also mean that, players that become stars in Championship can have a hard time in other leagues.

That's just logic.

I honestly don't think so sir, the league is very physical and if I am not mistaking, they play twice a week. Dele alli, Harry Kane and a whole lot played there too. don't judge too fast

Yeah I know. Lol... But he isn't so bad Naa. He is a decent talent. I understand the Brazilian hype shaa but the lad is truly okay. Rodrygo may be better though. And Reinier could even surpass both. All three are good but time will tell how good exactly.

it is now very obvious how Madrid threw in investments on them just like barça did with Neymar, I wish them good anyway.
