[quote author=JustMellow post=90768098] Hello Nitrobenzene, Yes, you can always create a new account but you may not be able to link it to the old account if you don't have the information. Thanks very much for your reply. I have all information for the account only that I don’t have access password to the email used to open it. I intend to close it and open a new one with my email. An agent did that one for me but now I want to have control of my own account. How do I go about that? Please, I am still waiting for replies |

Please house, Though I am not married but I have a fiancee which we are both at the final stage of crossing to marriage. I know if i apply as a single and the PR is successful, that means she will be in Nigeria and I will be in Canada. I want her to do her international passport in my name and she is also willing to do it. Also, l want to apply as a married man. I have Bsc, ICAN, Msc and she has ND/HND. My question: 1. If i apply as planned, will there be any consequence? 2. Is it that marriage certificate will be one of the requirements? Thank you all. |

ABDamola:From your brief, it doesn't seem like you understand the Express Entry process. 1) Getting married before or after applying is a non issue. What matters most is for you both to have a competitive CRS point that would fetch ITA. That said, with your MSc, if you can max out IELTS, have at least 3 years of work experience in NOC 0, A or B, and not more than 30 years old, I have no doubt that you will stand a great chance of a high CRS point that would fetch you ITA asap. So beyond writing IELTS and doing credentials evaluation, play around with the CRS calculator to know who can be the principal applicant between you and your fiancee. Depending on who is younger. Age is a big factor in this journey. For IELTS, simulate with LRWS - 8, 7, 7, 7. Note that it is desirable if you can score higher than this in IELTS. Your spouse should also write IELTS and evaluate her OND and HND. She should also aim to score minimum of 8, 7, 7, 7 in her IELTS. Her evaluation will count as two or more certificates. So it is a plus. And for you, only evaluate your MSc degree. 2) If you choose to apply as a couple, marriage certificate is one of the documents you are required to provide. I hope this helps. Cheers. 3 Likes |

niyogeol: Bro, Thank you for response. Your first paragraph got me. I dont understand the express entry process. I am 31years. And I have 5years work experience. I simulated on the CRS with the minimum score as you said and the score was 480. Is this okay?

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by niyogeol(m): 10:59am On Jun 18, 2020 |
ABDamola:You welcome, bro. Since you have agreed you don't understand the process, I will admonish you to revert to page 1 of this thread. Most of the information you need can be found there. It will do you a lot of good and also open your eyes and mind. 31 is fine. For the screenshot of the simulation you did, 7.5 is not desirable in listening for the IELTS. 8 should be the target at least. So have that in mind. Your simulation also doesn't seem correct. So do that again. Be mindful of Canadian education and work experience. Since you don't have it, you response to that should be no. Between, was your simulation done as a single applicant or married? Regardless, 480 is a good point assuming you did the simulation right. You can be sure you will get ITA with that within a short time of being in the pool as long as they do draws. Cheers. 2 Likes |

ABDamola:simulation done wrongly. You cant have 480 with your age unless you have siblings in canada, phd or french test. Check the work experience part. The first one is Canadian experience which should be none or less than 1 year. 3 Likes |

Hello House. Please I need some clarification on POF. My AOR was on 12th Sept.2019.Recent update on my application is to the effect that Eligibitily Requirements verification is presently being verified while criminal background verification is valid and security background verification is yet to be initiated. Above update points to my application being worked upon.At least my mind rest small LOL.Na Accra Visa Office so this calls for some form of joy.LOL! My concern however is that the main documents I submitted for POF are CBN treasury bills and my bank's Fixed deposit certificates which expired in January 2020 and February 2020 respectively while waiting for PPR.I have since rebooked these deposits albeit in foreign currency due to the unstable Naira.Note that available fund is well above the required sum by IRCC for my family category. Do I need to update my application with the current status of my POF after the expiration of the earlier documents submitted with my application or I await further update or advice from IRCC? If I need to update current POF status with new documents, please how do I go by this? Cheers! |
