AChinenyewa:
Good afternoon, please can a statement of result from the university be used for NMC registration if certificate is unavailable

To practice as a nurse, you would need to hold a valid nursing license. You may get admitted for a masters in nursing science without a clinical component but graduating from that doesn't make you a registered nurse.

I have always loved Canada and liked USA but my decision to remain in Canada and be subjected to a whole lot of BS in trying to get a license here is solely because of the slow rate of the USCIS and the Trump ban. That being said, in this year 2020, let's just say other things in my life are aligned more towards Canada than the states, so i am less eager to relocate there. Canada is a much better environment for the African children i hope to have someday so that's also part of my consideration. I would go to the states to work part time but I have no intentions of becoming American. I would soon be able to say I am Canadian, and for that I am super excited. Nursing here surely would take me longer to practice but am working on it. Personally, I decided that I would complete the BN program in my city due to a mirage of complications I would have to bear if I want to assess my credentials through NNAS and the entire process.

NB this is a public space so you may want to remove your phone number. Let's keep the discussion on the thread so it can grow. Thanks and I wish you the very best.

Better enjoy your freedom and family as you deem fit, in short while it lasted.

i was too cryptic.
For now, enjoy your freedom and family except you'll have them constantly by your side while schooling.
Personally, I'd rather watch medical related drama for both the entertainment and learning and leave the hardcore heavy lifting till school starts. Nursing will surely catch up with you no matter when you start.

Well, the battle is far from being over. I'd advice you focus on securing your Visa first before you start putting too much of yourself into the idea. Admission is easy to get for canada but the Visa officers are the major issue.

If you have successfully secured your visa, then congrats and heed to the advice that asked you to relax and enjoy the little time you have left soaking in love and your community before you travel.

Oh not the one in Canada, but the one in Qatar(sorry I wasn’t too clear) and I reside in Qatar with my family already, it is just we are still on lockdown since February and I was feeling like I am misusing this period.
But thank you I would relax and not be too hard on myself.
Thank you so much Ma’am.

Ohhh! Nice
Now I understand.
A lecturer of mine actually lectured at that school in Qatar.

Anyways it's hard for me to say which textbook because I am not sure if they follow UAE scheme or Canadian Scheme or if it is a hybrid.

Congrats......anyways relax cos it's a long road.

I think you should enjoy your time cuz when university starts, you will get really busy. UCQ changed it's syllabus last year so I am not sure how they've organized the courses. You download the medical textbook suggested to you and even review simple anatomy and physiology. I think they still teach that during the first semester.

Hi
Pls a friend need your assistance.

I attended two secondary schools. The 1st secondary school for 6years but I didn't make my O' level (WAEC) results here, I don't even have the school testimonial report.

But in my 2nd secondary school which I spent just 2years(just Jss2&3), here, I have my complete O' level (WAEC) results and I also have the school testimonial.

Please, which of the above secondary schools will you advise me to use while filling CGFNS CES form to avoid issues when sending my secondary school transcript? and why?

Thanks in anticipation of your response.

Use the same school you used for ur nursing school admission. Reason is simply because of consistency.

I am guessing it isnt impossible but the ircc doesnt automatically give Visa for those reasons so you would still have to prove your case.
