I am sure you know the relationship of Ethiopia and the Jewish nation from inception.

We could go into further with the intermarriage with Egyptian at that time too.

But for now l will stick with the Falash Mura Jews from Ethiopia. Who are still in Ethiopia today.

In the 70/80 's Isreal was smuggling Jews from Ethiopia through Sudan to Isreal.

You approach is very superficial and has no depth.

But that's a deviation from our main subject.

I no get anybody time for this thread, my own is just to come here to post, read comments and look at pic, I've never attack anybody here, unless the person attack me first. In fact, I don't reply a lot of offensive questions people ask me over here.

For the mumu wey dey always shook mouth for my matter, and the one wey dey always cry to the mods like a baby he is without caring to know who was the aggressor, listen carefully;

During Rodrigo Duterte campaign to become the president of Philippine, he promised to kill tens of thousands of criminals in the Philippines. He was not ready to let the Philippine turn to Mexico or Columbia just the way GMB has made some states in the North west and North east turn to Libya and Syria.

When he eventually became the president in 2016, he started crushing all drug cartels, in fact he killed thousands of them. Then, the US President back then, Obama started shooking his mouth in what was none of his business. Duterte quickly put him in his place by telling him that "I am no American puppet. I am the president of a sovereign country and I am not answerable to anyone except the Filipino people. You must be respectful. Do not just throw away questions and statements. Son of a LovePeddler, I will curse you in that forum."

When you respect yourself, I will surely respect you cool

As a man of peace that I am, I won't let this thread be derailed by replying very provocative comments directed at me. cool

Where did we stop sef grin

This particular location is clearly Sahel savanna which means vehicles can literally attack the town from multiple locations without need for roads. Seems a well coordinated attack.

Quite obviously Boko have edited the video to show them in the best light.

Nonetheless, what do Boko have❓ rudimentary 60mm mortar, gun trucks, Rpg7's and everything else is light arms.

I was able to see a Vickers MBT, ERC 90, Saurer tracked APC and a 60mm gun on the Panhard. All these vehicles are from 80's possibly even older. But it's irrelevant.

If well serviced and operational BOKO have absolutely nothing that can penetrate the armour of that Vickers MBT. This is British tank with the same fire control system on the retired Chieftain MBT. At a distance of 2km it will with its laser range finder and combined day/night sight;. Have a near 100% accuracy.

Essentially at distance that one tank can hit Boko technical with ease using its 105mm gun even with manual load expect at least 15-20 rpm. It has coaxial 7.62 mg and should have another 12.7 mm machin gun on the turret.

However, knowing our inherent culture towards maintenance and " just manage am" mentality l can not say how operational that MBT is.

From the safety of that defensive position the Panhard can use its 60mm mortar to stop the enemy advance if given targets by spotters.

The Sagay 6x6 has a 90mm gun l am not familiar with fire control system. But at least it should have sights with 10x magnification. It is lightly armoured but against Boko a gun truck with no sights or stabilisation Sagay wins all the time. I expect Sagay to take out trucks within a km with at 100% accuracy.

It is apparent that the NA abandoned thier positions. Why l do not know.❓ ❓ There must be a contingency plan, we expect attack they should never be a suprise.

We can presume that the equipment was not working, but we don't know. What Army will deploy soldiers with equipment that is not operational. Again l don't know.

If this was one of the Chinese new MBT tanks just acquired, would it also be abandoned

I noticed no fortified elevation points on the base lay out from the little l could see. I have talked about basic base layout before.

It simply does not look good on all fronts what ever way you look at it.

Gambari is currently in a closed-door meeting with Service Chiefs at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The Service Chiefs, led by the Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin arrived at the seat of power at 08:50 GMT and proceeded straight to the Council.
The Service Chiefs are expected to brief State House Correspondents at the end of the meeting.

Nigeria, in the last few months, has witnessed a rise in criminal activities of bandits, especially in the northwestern part of the country. The security meeting is expected to discuss the new increase in security challenges. It should also be noted that the situation had led to protests in some of the states and among the northern elite, which had led to calls on the President to give answers to the challenges or resign. Unfortunately we will have to just face up to the facts the entire security response and associated issues have been politicised.

The Abubakar Shekau faction of Boko Haram, Jama’atu Ahlussunnah Lidda’awati Wal Jihad, has invited bandits to join them. The sect made the call in a new video. The faction wooed armed groups terrorising the North West and North Central.

The regions have been under unabated attacks by bandits who kill, rape, injure the people, burn houses and rustle cattle, sheep, etc.The insurgents specifically urged outlaws in Zamfara and Niger States, to partner with Boko Haram.

The footage shows four masked men speaking in English, Hausa, Fulfulde and French, HumAngle reports.
One of them said “brothers in Lake Chad, my brothers in Cameroon, my brothers in Sambisa, my brothers in Niger State, my brothers in Zamfara State…to strive harder for the sake of Allah”.

He said everything being done “is for the cause of Allah, and I encourage you to keep doing it. Strive harder, because Allah instructed us in the Holy Quran to strive harder for His cause.”

“You feel we kill. You feel we destroy. Allah has instructed us to kill everyone that is unbelieving,” the speaker declared.

He added that they were fine “and we hope you are also in a good state of health. We thank God who put us on this path, in this time, to promote His words and institute His law”.

The insurgent said his “second message” was to the people of Nigeria, Cameroon, and the whole world. We call you to join us to institute Sharia globally. When you come, we will accept you according to (Shari’ah) law, and we (will) worship Allah as He commands us.”

Let me say this before anyone tell us Bandits can't fight alongside boko haram, a friend was once robbed by bandits. After they told everybody to take off all their clothes, to be sure no one was keeping anything.

They were all told to take off their clothes. Any man that tries to use his hand to cover his d**k or woman wey wan use her hand cover her b**bs or honey pot, they promise to cut off the two hands shocked

After every every, the bandits prayed to god before they left. So is so possible for Boko haram and bandits and also armed Fulani herdsmen to work together.

The Air Task Force (ATF) of Operation LAFIYA DOLE has destroyed a compound housing some High Value Boko Haram Terrorist (BHT) leaders and neutralized some of their fighters at Garin Maloma on the fringes of the Sambisa Forest in Borno State. This was achieved through massive air strikes executed to mark the launch of Operation LONG REACH, a new subsidiary operation in the theatre, which commenced on 16 June 2020.
The attack at Garin Maloma, a major node in the BHT’s line of communication in the Sambisa Forest axis, was undertaken based on credible intelligence reports as well as days of surveillance missions indicating that the terrorists had begun using one of the compounds in the settlement for accommodation and training of their fighters.
Accordingly, the ATF dispatched an Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft and fighter jets to attack the location. Overhead the target area, many BHT fighters were observed in the vicinity of settlement, with a few around the solar panel-mounted, High Value Target (HVT) location. The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jets engaged the location in successive waves of attacks leading to significant damage to numerous structures as well as killing of several terrorists. Some terrorists, who survived the first few waves and converged around the rubble near the damaged HVT compound, were taken out in subsequent follow-on attacks.
The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, who was in Maiduguri to flag-off Operation LONG REACH commends the Air Task Force, directing them to intensify the air offensive against the terrorists and all other enemies of our Great Nation.

Why is it that 90% of airstrikes are always in Southern Borno. Southern Borno has a more weakened terrorists than Northern Borno and deep Borno central. We are talking about terrorists who know Monguno has over 2000 soldiers and still have the effrontery to attack for over two hours embarassed embarassed

Currently Rumour has it that ISWAP held a high profile meeting in Gudzamala promising to attack Monguno probably very soon due to the casualties they experienced in the last attack. This has made most peeps to abandon Monguno and most NGOs to stop implementing activities.

I need to see more Air platforms bombarding Gudzamala, Kukawa, Marte and Abadam

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday criticized service chiefs in Nigeria over their strategy in tackling insecurity, warning them to be alive to security problems bedeviling the country.

Disclosing this to State House correspondents on Thursday after a security briefing, the National Security Adviser, Maj. Gen. Babagana Monguno (retd.), said the President was unhappy with the current state of security in the country.

According to Monguno, the President said, though the security chiefs had been doing their best, their best had not been good enough for the challenges facing the nation.

He also expressed displeasure over the lack of synergy amongst security forces and charged the various aspects of the security architecture to work together to solve the nation’s security challenges.

UPDATE ON ARMED FORCES OF NIGERIA OPERATIONS FROM 11 – 18 JUNE 2020

1. The Armed Forces of Nigeria has continued its major operation across the country. In this regard our regular update is necessary to acquaint the general public on the progress. This brief will cover the period 11 – 18 June 2020.

NORTH-EAST THEATRE

2. In the North-East, the Armed Forces of Nigeria have intensified its offensives against the BHT/ISWAP terrorists through concerted and deliberate land and air operations, in line with the operational mandate to decisively end all terrorists’ activities in this region. Significantly, between 11 - 18 June 2020, troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE carried out several aggressive clearance operation at various locations within the theatre, including a daring counter-attack on Boko Haram terrorists who attempted to infiltrate Monguno town on 12 June 2020. The counter attack by own troops at Monguno resulted in the neutralization of 41 terrorists and the recovery of a large cache of arms, ammunition and equipment,as well as the rescue of 33 captives, amongst others.

NORTH-WEST THEATRE

3. In the North-West, Armed Forces of Nigeria troops have continued to build on recent successes against armed bandits operating in the region following intensive ground and air assaults on their identified bases, with scores of bandits killed. Within the period under review, the Land and Air components of Operations HADARIN DAJI, KATSINA and ACCORD, carried out aggressive Clearance Operations at several identified bandits’ enclaves. Most importantly was the attack on 3 camps operated by one "Adamu Aleiro" in a forest along Katsina - Zamfara boundary area. Scores of bandits were killed during that encounter, with several others injured. In the process, troops also apprehended 3 suspected bandits, including one Ibrahim Isa clad in military camouflage while 6 kidnapped victims were rescued, amongst other recoveries.

4. Furthermore, AFN troops under the auspices of Operation ACCORD carried out several Civil Military Cooperation (CIMIC) activities at various communities within the North-West theatre. These efforts include: Drilling and completion of 7 boreholes at Mazoji, Kururubai and Gabasawa B communities in Daura LGA, Tudun Matawalle, Rahamawa and Tudun-Dole and Natsinta communities of Katsina LGA. Presently, 2 additional boreholes are being drilled in Dangeza and Dunya villages in Danmusa LGA of Katsina State. Plans are also underway to construct a Medical Dispensary in Mazoji community in Daura LGA, as well as renovate schools in the vicinity.

NORTH-CENTRAL THEATRE

5. Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE on 14 Jun 2020 apprehended one militia leader popularly known as Alhaji Audu from Olegeje community in Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State. In the course of the operation, arms and ammunition were recovered. Alhaji Audu was suspected to be responsible for several attacks in the community and has been on the wanted list of security agencies for some time now. The arrest of Alhaji Audu has brought relative peace to the surrounding communities.

NIGER-DELTA REGION

6. In the Niger-Delta region, AFN troops have continued to degrade the activities of economic saboteurs through ongoing anti-illegal oil bunkering operations in the general area. Within the week under review, a total of 5 illegal refineries, 14 surface metal storage tanks, 9 coolers, 9 cooking ovens were confiscated and the site has been earmarked for swamp buggy operations. While about 2,640.5 barrels of stolen crude oil, 80,000 litres of Automotive Gas Oil and 43,000 liters of Premium Motor Spirit were seized. Troops also neutralized 4 militants and recovered arms and ammunition during clearance operations on pirates/militants’ camps at Ibokiri and New Jerusalem in Degema LGA of Rivers State.

7. Gentlemen of the Press, since the commencement of Operation ACCORD, several high-profile terrorists’ and bandits’ leaders have surrendered while many others have been neutralized and their equipment captured by our gallant troops. In the period under review, the AFN has neutralized 52 criminals across all theatres with the destruction and recovery of weapons.

8. The Military High Command appreciates the general public for their cooperation in providing credible information which have so far facilitated the successes of these operations. You see something say something to the security agencies. Thank you.
