Boss the SIM is 4g. When I dial what u told me to dial. After changing to LTE only, the network bar disappeared and it didn't turn on again.
genius43:

It might be that the 4G network is not strong enough or your SIM is not a 4G SIM

Dail *#*#4636#*#* select the SIM tray where the MTN is (Phone information 1 or 2) change it to LTE Only and see if it forces the 4G

What do you suggest I do? Should I switch the SIM cards to check if the Airtel will bring 4g. Or how do you know a SIM is 4g

pls any help on my redmi note 7, the whatapp video call n Facebook video call has been good for a while but recently has a very poor quality when making whatapp video call. any solution?

Check the network in Ur area, if network is poor; video quality automatically reduces to correspond to the poor network strength. Same way Ur YouTube videos reduce in quality due to poor network.

How old is your MTN SIM?

For Airtel 4G is written on the SIM pack and the SIM card

My MTN should be over 3 years now. I guess I should try the Airtel sim then because 4g is written on it

Been putting the RN9s through it's paces all night. The Elite Gaming features Qualcomm talked about are no jokes. Tested several heavy titles and the performance was so good I am surprised Redmi can sell this device at such a giveaway price. If you intend to game on the 9s, it's a solid performer.

Haven't tested Fortnite yet but expect some stutters from time to time but solid 30fps is doable.

The person probably owns a RN8 or 8pro.

Them RN9S people go talk the same when the RN10 go show grin grin grin grin grin

Na so life be.

I recently noticed this poor video quality on WhatsApp on my redmi note 7. I thought it was my front camera that was acting up but when i take a selfie or record a video via the front camera, it looks ok.

I doubt if it's poor network strength because Glo network is very cool in my area. One of my female friends that uses the same phone haven't encountered this issue.

I even did the Hardware test and everything looks ok.
I started experiencing this after my last WhatsApp update though.

6gb ram variant??

4GB. 6GB Ram is great if you like to multitask a lot and use heavy social media apps.

If Fortnite can play on the Y9p at 30fps with Kirin 710F, the RN9S with a far better SOC will handle it better.

Yes. I've seen YouTubers play at medium settings and still have average framerates of 30fps.

Glo? On RN7? Bros I use a Mi 9T which has the Glo band 28 and I still get bad network, talkless of a phone that only has band 3 for Glo.

Screenshot Ur battery stats from settings and change ranking to details for us to see.

On the whatsapp update thingy, that might also be another angle, though I haven't heard people complaining.

That 8nm is no joke. I used to be so conscious of my battery usage that seeing the battery of the RN9s not losing percentage makes me feel like the battery is bad. Lol

Transsion really do me strong thing that year. My Infinix S2's battery be falling like premium tears

After testing Gcam mods on RN9s, I came up with a conclusion that the stock is better.

Bro...the stock cam is really good. However the onfire mod I'm using takes very detailed photos. If you want HDR+ enhanced photos you can edit, get the Onfire Gcam but if you want straight from cam photos, use the stock camera.
