Following the heavy downpour that has continued in Lagos state for since Tuesday, several parts of the state gradually being submerged in the resultant flood. Government needs to build more canals, drainages and dykes to take care of floods. Our drainages need to be cleared constantly for free flow of rain water. |

Every year the same story. There's never a lasting solution to the problem of flood in Lagos. Once it's the dry season they'll forget about the rainy season. And once it's rainy season they'll start praying for dry season.
