This is my opinion though, I feel Messi can play regular football even at 38 in his club although not like he used to play. He can be deployed to a midfield role at that age and still perform better than some young midfielders younger than him. As for Ronaldo when he becomes too weak to strike, can he be used in any other position?

and at 33 e ran away from one of the top clubs in spain...bros spain is the best league in europe and they dnt accommodate trash like Italy of Germany...the two oldest strikers last season in spain were joaquin in betis and aduriz in bilao ( retired) both really deserved thier time because they served thier peak years in thier clubs...get ur facts right

Messi is getting younger both in look and career wise now.. I don't think Messi is stopping sooner but if Portuguese hushpuppi can go back to Bernabeu as prodigal son maybe things will come back to normal for him again the way he dropped it in 2018

In my opinion ronaldo would stay longer, he hv got the body nd strength of a 25 yrs old player

Not all strikers use pace , he is not even a full striker , he play mostly from ranks

yes i grab ur point...he is athletic and looks very fit to go but also i guess d next two years from now that form n drive would drop and same with messi....injuries would start coming frequently and same with messi, their body wont be able to keep up with the demand of constant training and game time of playing for a big clubs, other younger strikers with fresher blood would be placed ahead of them and they too would understand dt age isnt on their side for example barca av a more younger suarez dt can still play for more 4 yrs bt de are going for matinez in inter because of dt age factor, football today is all abt d future and also i guess cr7 n measi performance level would drop nxt 3yrs bcoz of stress n strain dt dier body av experience...delima ronaldo once said hr av to retire wen he did because he felt like playing on, his spirit was Willing bt his body says no...mind u both would luv to leave football wen d ovation is still loud dan to come de fall dier hands wiith bad records....imagine hearing dt cr7 or messi ends a season with just 5 goals mayb due to injury or inconsistent season...dts wud b a slap to them naa
