sorry i do no think that amount would cover for consult, test and the lens type you intend doing. I'm not sure you'll get it done in a private clinic for that amount. You should use lagos university teaching hospital or the state hospital lasuth but up your budget a bit more or settle for normal lenses. You could use google map to find your way there

the results indicates you visual field isn't a normal one and you'll possibly have to be managed for glaucoma . what was your iop reading this last time ?

My IOP was measured today and the Opthamologist said it is normal. She gave me another appointment for next week Wednesday she said she wants to do something called ".......scopy" that scopy was the only thing i heard at the end of the word. I asked her if a glaucoma diagnosis has been confirmed she said she can't say that she has to see her consultant.

it is an intermitten stabismus and there might be occassions that could make it noticeable . take him back to the doc for re evaluation . Your child would be fine. It shouldnt be a thing to cause you much worry; as u can see it's getting better .

And my Visual Acuity keeps reducing the eyeglass i renewed 3 months ago doesn't have the focusing power i had when i got it i know it's because i work on digital devices a lot. Even when the eyes aches as a result of strain i keep on working just to finish the task at times the eye would become red after looking at screen for hours.

And i do see circle around lights at night but this only happens if i strain the eyes for hours during the day. On a normal day without straining the eyes i don't see those round ring.

Hey DOC optm n drsteroid, I've hypertropia in my left eye,can I get a doctor report for wearing dark eye glasses) Cos most schools don't allow student wear dark glasses in class. Also can you suggest the type of eye glass I can use?

well, getting a doctors report on that might not hold as the Dark shades aint to improve your visual function but rather for the psychological boost it may give as i understand it rubs off on your self esteem. The Nigerian education system doesn't care about that. EVen if you get a doctor's report on that, it might not be considered

how long has the hypertropia been? well as regards your question, so long as it doesnt reduce your visual functioning, it's ok but i would recommend you visit your eye doc if you havent done that since you had the tropia.

you are right on this, not much can be done at this point . You could get a good shade but ensure it doesnt reduce your visual functioning. NEvertheless, you still have to visit ur eye doc from time to time to maintain your vision

of course but not necessarily due to the tropia but other eye conditions that you could be unaware of. as for the cost to see one, it varies but you could check in any around u to find out the cost.
