Xiaomi percentage isn't significant. Tecno still lead the market because of their full presence in Nigeria. They don't operate by proxy like some brands do. Tell them to go to the street to advertise because that is where you see real users not internet. They should pay go marketers to tour the country because relying on social media alone wouldn't do justice

After scanning, one of the device my phone detected was a Redmi 8, I was surprised. At the recently concluded Ramadan cup, I met a guy with a Redmi note 5 AI. I know people who know someone with a Xiaomi phone and guys in my area are actually starting to talk about it more often, thanks to the "insignificant" nairaland.
See, if Tecno and Co. don't restrategize, Xiaomi or even the likes of Umidigi may be the death of them.
Well, let's see what'll happen in the next 5 years. 0.1% may just turn to 30/40%.
