Because you are street smart and doing well in the real sector shouldnt make one condemn going for a safe option. No be everybody sabi agbero style of business. 16 Likes |

DexterousOne: Every other African country has its own brands they project to the world too. To me I've not seen much of any Nigerian strides in Africa apart from the oil and gas sector. Definitely, political and economic restructuring along region lines will bring the best out from Nigeria/Nigerians. 1 Like 1 Share |

In Lagos build a quality single room apartment or good self contain like we call it in naija which every class will afford, unlikely no tenant will default. The probability to default is very low. Collect bond of 3 months before renting it out to avoid stories that touch. las las our fight is with poverty not against each other. Landlord/landlady should stop renting out apartment at a ridiculous rate. If you can downsize the apartments i reckon you should do it but don't sell. Investing in TB now for 15 years is worthless to me. Diyke4rich: 4 Likes |

ahiboilandgas: If you retire today, your soul will not be dead. You can start travelling to exotic places in the world. You can fully immense yourself in philanthropic works. You can voluteer to teach in any institution for free and pass your financial knowledge to the upcoming generation. There was a video of a traditional ruler in one SW rural community who built a school with boarding facilities and it is completely free as in the students pay zero fees. The traditional equally teaches in the same school. 27 Likes |

This is a business I have been vying to start. Where I live, the demand is high. They currently import from southern Asia and India. And I understand that Nigeria is one of the major producers and exporters. AdaoraNK: |

Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by NL1960: 12:02pm On Jun 20, 2020 |
ahiboilandgas: It is the same thing we are saying. It is like 6 and 9. There are people that what makes them happy is put their money in fixed income and then engages in volunteer work or philanthropic. They do not like bothering their souls with knowing if a driver has diverted their products or the truck delivered safely. What makes the person's soul happy is getting his half yearly interest and using part of it to sponsor kids from his immediate environment to school or providing infrastructure for those in need in his immediate environment. 15 Likes |

You have said it. A one bedroom flat or self contain remain my best model of rental building if I am to go into go into real estate. Even if one tenant defaults you still have other tenants to collect money from. In most places in Lagos, they won't even allow you finish building before they start chasing you with money. That's why it's easy for fraudulent agents to collect money from more tenants than available flats in such buildings because of high demand. Nwokeomajayb: 2 Likes |
