Hi Mamaroon, thanks for the response I would take your suggestion, I'm amazed you even remembered I wanted to write TEF then, We have Angels on this platform thanks for looking out for me. I actually wrote the TEF then and although I didn't clear all the Bands (Writing dealt with me) I was able to get additional 8 points that moved my CRS from 457 to 465 and that was how I got my ITA. And I'm also very glad i did cos CRS scores are not smiling these days.

Mamaroon:

Congrats on your bundle of joy!!! My advise is to raise a CSE and ask IRCC gan gan about if you should go ahead and do medicals again, in view of the Sept expiry. They usually respond to CSEs within 4 days or so (how many days do you have to do baby's medicals?) Prepare your mind to travel twice sha just in case....it's for a good cause.

By the way, did you eventually take the TEF and use it to increase your CRS?

Hello Great people of Nairaland!

Please what is the right NOC for a Medical Doctor who used WES to evaluate Masters degree in Public Health instead of using MCC to evaluate MBBS.

However, work experience is in Primary Health Care Centre as a Medical Doctor for the past 5years but plans to use the Public Health qualification in Canada, thus the reason why it was evaluated and not MBBS.

Should the Express entry profile be focused on Medical practice even though the degree was not evaluated?

Our mentors in the house, please help out with this enquiry.

Thanks

Congrats to you and your friend.

DadR:
Hi guys, a ku lockdown o!

Just a feedback to the house, as a fall out of an enquiry I made in part 8.

I assisted a friend with his ECA and can confirm that WES evaluates Certificate in Insurance as equivalent to a one-year College-level certificate.

See below screenshot FYI.

Degree in what for PNP? This your reply be like wetin Juga version of josh2funny dey talk grin grin PNPs are for occupations in demand. So the degree and work experience must be for an occupation in demand in a province, always add that when advising on PNP.

Hello Otoge,

At 39 years, a person can still qualify for AIPP under the Atlantic Intermediate-Skill Stream or Atlantic High-Skill Stream in EE. This programs requires no work experience and just the high school diploma (certificate) to qualify.

N.B: there are up to 80 economic-class immigration programs regulated by the P/T and Federal government.

All the best

Although FSW does not generally link educational qualification to work experience.... Medicine is a regulated profession.

If you are not a Dentist or Vet then I suspect your NOC would be 3111 or 3112.

My advise...jejely use MCC to evaluate your MBBS....I am assuming the Medical Doctor is the PA.....For accompanying spouse, non Canadian experience doesn't count, so no problem (I think).

Hello Ednut1,

True that a job offer isn't easy to come by, but is there anything within the reach of feasibility that seems impossible?

A more profound question should be if people aren't getting nominated through these routes? If there is something about immigration in general perspective is that LUCK is a unique identifier that varies from respective applicants. Its agreeable to say the job offer isn't easy to come by but its not right to create a perception that may suggest that its not possible.

N.B: I don't have to contend or give proof before passing a resourceful info across to people who may find it useful and/or of the people that may have succeeded using the AIPP route under EE.

Good morning everyone, it's 11:38am in Milton Ontario, and thank you for having me once again.

I know you all would've been wondering about the planned Zoom meeting, in commemoration of my first year anniversary in Canada, which we talked about earlier. Yes! That's correct!

I was just about paying for the Zoom session when I, unfortunately, realized that the Admins of this platform banned me from posting, I think that was since the night of Friday, 5th of June, 2020, after I had answered all the questions some people asked me on these platform. It took me so many hours, with great research and links to helpful resources, to answer those questions, starting from 10pm Friday night, till 4am Saturday morning. Only to wake up and couldn't find the post, and I couldn't comment but just read comments. It was so devastating, and I was very sad and disappointed. Perhaps the Admins thought I was doing this for some pecuniary gains smiley smiley smiley. But those who know me here can testify to it that this couldn't have been the case.

Well, I would've love to move forward with the plan, but unfortunately I just got a job, after three months of layoff due to Covid-19, working four days in a week, from Saturday to Tuesday, with a US Government Agency, on Unemployment Insurance, as a Desktop Analyst from home. In addition, the time difference Nigeria, Canada and the US, isn't favorable. Lagos is already asleep during my uptime.

So, how do we move forward? Well! I really don't know, honestly grin (heavy sigh from here smiley smiley smiley) and I really love to DO this sad sad sad

Anyway, hmmm, perhaps, I am going to take a day off, may be one Sunday, and we will get it done.

To the Admins: I am not doing this for any monetary gain. I just feel like helping others. If someone told me as at December 2018, or in my life time, that I will be speaking or writing from Canada, I'd say the person doesn't know what he or she is saying. And so far so good, I have not regretted a day of being here. Rather, I regret not having been here earlier, when I was in my 20s. I wish I had the powers to open the gate for everyone grin grin grin

So, that's the gist. And for those that has been contacting me through in-mail here, I am afraid I can't open that email for just everyone because that's the email for my interact (interact is the platform for sending or receiving money. We exchange money with one another here using our email address or phone number. I don't need your account number, just your email or phone number). Emails here are very private, because it could be compromised and get one into some sort of mess.

I greet you all and humble ask for your understanding.

Please don't take the advice above.. 62 isn't a good score for SINP, unless a miracle happens..

Your wife is still young, let her do CIMA, ACCA or BCS to get two or more certificates.. it'll add over 30 points

Then you also evaluate your Bsc and write IELTS, from the point you mentioned (426), It's obvious you done either one or none of the two.. you need to get them done..

By the time you have done the above, your score will be around 470...

All the best to your family.

January 2020 SINP

AVO has reached January wow.
I really do not understand the rationale behind holding back PPR mails. Send it to people, its not like its COPR. When you send the Ppr mails, let them savour it and wait for things to open up in their country for submission. Even if PPR mails have a TL, you extend it. Even if it comes with remed, extend it too. I'm sure people whose medical are yet to expire don't Mind getting the mail, even if the medical will expire before things open up. Those mails are very important to clear heads and uncertainty. Its not fair.

Hello Otoge,

I don't need to start explaining in details to prove a point here. These informations on the basics are found on the respective Atlantic province site and I believe there is a thread for AIPP route on NL. Whoever deems the information useful can commence a thorough research on this immigration pathway. Isn't that a way to go?

Edit:
My medical was automatically extended.

I will advise you wait until you are asked. Mine expired May 1st 2020 and by June 2nd my profile showed I had passed medical.
So basically my profile went from “July 16, 2019. You passed medical” to “You do not need a medical exam.....” then finally to “June 2nd, 2020. You passed the medical exam..”

Medical expires the day you do it, which in your case will be 14th of August.
fadeofresh:
Please I have a situation and i need advise from the Gurus in the house.

So, I recently added my baby to my application and I've been asked to go for my baby's medicals, Now my wife and I, our medicals will expire in 2 to 3 months from now (Not sure which one is the actual deadline because We did the medicals on the 14th of August 2019 and it was updated on my application on the 13th of September 2019).

Can We request to retake another medicals right away so that I can just schedule everything the same time as my baby's medical or wait until they prompt me to retake medicals, I just want everything to go smoothly going forward as I'm not based in Lagos or Abuja, therefore prompting us for another medicals in the future would mean planning another trip, waste of time and more expenses etc.

Hello Ednut1 and Otoge,

I don't see any reason for the unnecessary dragging so as not to derail this precious thread. I only replied again to correct some wrong assertions made by you both.

It is very wrong to assume and conclude without proper information about someone you don't know. For record purpose, I am an active member of NL same as you two and host of others.

I admire the good and benevolent works you two are doing here on the EE thread but last time I check nobody is a bastion of knowledge. It all entails more of give and take.

I hope we all can shake hands and focus on the most important issues raising concerns.

Hi guys please I have a few questions to ask

I recently received an ADR for Newborn and I was given 30 days to upload the necessary documents, the issue now is my newborn's passport is going to take longer than usual because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Should I go ahead an fill the IM 0008 form and leave the part of passport details blank for my newborn and upload it that way with an LOE and upload all the documents I have ready in the provided placeholder (birth certificate and receipt of fees)OR should I send them a webform asking them if I should wait till the passport is ready before uploading anything?

The part where they ask for document number on the IMM0008 form, what should I fill in because it wont be validated if the space is blank

If they ask me for my newborn's documents does this mean my eligibility has been processed or is in processing?

If i applied as a family of 3 and my POF already covers a family of 4, am I still required to provide the same POF?
In the ADR I got, It said an updated POF for the new family member is required but I had already uploaded the required amount for a family of 4 at the time of submission

Thank you!

Hello NairaLuck,
Please tell your relation to try AIPP and other immigration programs. He is qualified for them. Contact JustMellow if you need more help.

PS: i didn't make a wrong assertion, ascribe that accordingly, "juga please with laughter" isnt an assertion, right or wrong. That of PNP isnt wrong either.

For POF, upload it again since it's for 4 members already. But I would rather go to the bank and get an updated statement cos i'm sure you have made transactions on it. Then explain its same amount cos it covers all of you.

For the dilemma, i think you should raise CSE, attach the documents of your baby that is ready while explaining that covid has made it impracticable for you to get PP immediately for the child and maybe ask for an extension of time. Since the form won't validate without passport number.
